"Congratulations, girl," Alya says running up to her best friend.
"Thanks, I mean I was a little nervous and did some awkward things but I was actually able to get a sentence out," Marinette says.
"Come on, let's go work on your dress," Alya says pulling Marinette.
"Okay, okay," Marinette says.
"We better get a vase for that flower," Alya says as they walk to the bakery.
"Monique's will have one," Marinette says as they walk past the strip.
"Let's get one," Alya says as they walk towards the shop.
"Hi Monique," Marinette says as they walk through the door making the bell ring.
"Hi Marinette, do you need more fabric?" Monique asks.
"Sure, I think I'm out of black fabric, can I get two yards of the Valentine's day fabric and 3 yards of black? I am also looking for a vase," Marinette says.
"The vases are in the left corner, I will get you that fabric," Monique says going into the back to get the fabric.
"Thanks," Marinette says as she and Alya walk to the corner with the vases.
Marinette chooses a tall clear vase.
"That doesn't really say Marinette," Alya jokes.
"I will decorate it later, I only have a few days to finish my dress."
"You're right," Alya says as they walk to the front where Monique just finished cutting the extra fabric.
"Are you ready?" Monique says walking to the counter.
"Yep," Marinette says taking her card out.
"It will be $13.50," Monique says the total after the discount.
"Here you go," Marinette says giving Monique a 20 dollar bill.
"$6.50 is your change," Monique gives Marinette her change.
"See you later," Marinette says as she and Alya leave the shop.
They arrive at the bakery and head up to Marinette's room.
"This is coming along great," Alya says looking at the dress on the dummy.
"I'm thinking of making it long sleeves," Marinette says putting the rose in a vase and taking out her sketchbook.
"I like that better," Alya says looking at the sketchbook.
"Adrien said the same thing," Marinette says putting straight pins in the fabric she is going to use for the sleeve.
"I told you some day Adrien would see how amazing you are," Alya says as she watches her best friend circle around the dummy.
"It feels like a dream come true," Marinette says finishing the sleeves and walking over to the balcony to watch the clouds.
"Dreams can come true when you believe," Alya says.
Alya's phone goes off.
"Everything okay?" Marinette asks as she sees Alya's face go from joy to concern.
"Yea, my parents need me to watch the twins, I'll see you later," Alya says.
"Later," Marinette says.
"I'm so proud of you Marinette," Tikki comes out of hiding.
"Thanks, I'm really glad that I know how he feels," Marinette smiles.
"Alya's right, dreams come true when you believe," Tikki says.
"Yea, want to help me finish my dress?" Marinette asks her Kwami.
"Of course," Tikki flies over to the dummy and sits on the shoulder.
