"So, do you think that Damocles will listen to what we have to say?" Marinette asks video chatting with Adrien.
"What do you mean?" Adrien asks.
"Well, even if we are Ladybug and Cat Noir, Chloe will use her status to get what she wants, you know she uses her dad to scare people."
"I know, but I also know how to take care of that. The mayor may want his daughter to be happy but he also cares about the Parisians. He will listen to us."
"You're right," Marinette agrees.
"How is the dress coming?" Adrien changes the subject.
"Pretty good, do you want to see it?"
"Yes," Adrien smiles.
Marinette walks over to the dummy and pulls off the fabric hiding the dress.
"What do you think?" Marinette asks.
"Amazing, as usual, but I don't think your usual bag will go with it," Adrien says.
"But, that's where I keep Tikki," Marinette says.
"Marinette, I have seen what you can do, I know you can make a black bag with hearts by Saturday morning that would work and I could also hide Plagg in there."
"Okay, I'm almost done with the dress anyway."
"Awesome can't wait to see it, we better get to sleep if we are going to meet Mayor Bourgeois before school tomorrow," Adrien says.
"I'm just going to start on my purse then go to bed, night," Marinette says.
"Good night my sweet Marinette," Adrien responds before hanging up.
Marinette works on the purse for ten minutes before Tikki interrupts her, "Marinette, you have to get some rest, you can't fall asleep during the day."
"You're right Tikki, let's get some rest," Marinette says turning off her light.
Marinette's phone goes off at 6:30 in the morning.
"I better call Adrien and see if he is awake," Marinette says first thing after a yawn.
"Hey Marinette, what's up?" Adrien asks.
"Oh, you're already up?" Marinette says.
"Yep. I knew that we had to get to city hall early so I set my alarm for 6," Adrien says.
"I will meet you at city hall at 7, come as Cat Noir," Marinette says.
"You've got it," Adrien says before hanging up the phone.
"Okay, do I have everything?"
"Don't forget this Marinette," Tikki says handing her the tablet she uses for literature.
"Thanks Tikki," Marinette says.
"You also may want to call Alix and tell her to have Alya watch Chloe so Alix doesn't get mad," Tikki says.
"Good idea," Marinette says taking her phone out and calling Alix.
"Hey Marinette, what's up?"
"Adrien and I have to do something at city hall if Alya gets to school before us stay with her until we come," Marinette says.
"You've got it," Alix says.
"I have to go, see you at school," Marinette says before hanging up.
"Spots on Marinette," Tikki says as Marinette turns into an alley.
"Right, Tikki spots on," Marinette says turning into Ladybug.
Ladybug runs out of the alley and uses her yo-yo to get to city hall. She arrives just before Cat Noir.
"Mayor Bourgeois should be here soon," Cat Noir says.
Just then a limo drives up to city hall and the mayor comes out.
"Mr. Mayor, we need to speak with you," Ladybug says.
"Sure Ladybug, let's talk in my office," the mayor says unlocking city hall.
"Mr. Mayor we know that you love Chloe but we need you to do something that will make her mad," Cat Noir says.
"And what might that be?" the mayor asks.
"We need you to tell her 'no', it is for the safety of your daughter and Paris as we know it," Ladybug says realizing that the mayor's face is one of uncertainty.
"Okay, what do you need," the mayor responds.
"As you know we fight akumatised villains everyday and recently they have been getting stronger. There is one citizen that we are really worried about," Cat Noir says.
"And who would that be?"
"Her name is Alix Kubdel, she is the daughter of the curator of the Louvre. She was akumatised into Time Breaker. A villain who was able to take energy from others. She was one of our strongest enemies," Ladybug says.
"And what would I be denying Chloe?"
"You can't fire the principal, Mr. Damocles, if Alix becomes akumatised everyone in Paris would be frozen," Cat Noir says.
"Then ultimately disappear forever," Ladybug adds.
"I understand and I won't let that happen," the mayor says.
