Marinette is the first one into Ms. Bustier's class and grabs a seat in the back of the classroom.
Alya sits in her usual seat and looks back at Marinette, signaling for her to come and sit by her. Marinette just looks out the window.
"You're really mad at her, aren't you?" Adrien says sitting next to Marinette.
"You can tell?" Marinette says looking at her crush.
"Well be careful, negative emotions can get you akumatised."
"I won't let them get that bad, just until she sees through Lila's lies. Besides it's not like she is my friend," Marinette says.
Adrien raises one of his eyebrows.
"I mean she's my friend, of course she is my friend, she will always be my friend, she just isn't my only friend. I mean I have you and I like you, I mean I like you as a friend, you know like just two people who like doing things together."
Ms. Bustier walks into the classroom just in time to stop Marinette from embarrassing herself more than she already has.
"Good morning class," Ms. Bustier greets.
"Morning Ms. Bustier," the class responds.
"Now, let's talk about beauty," Ms. Bustier says.
"Oh, I know everything about beauty," Lila says, "Prince Ali called me the most beautiful of them all."
"Which kind of beauty are we talking about Ms. Bustier?" Adrien raises his hand.
"What do you mean what kind? There is only one kind, and that is physical beauty," Lila flicks her hair behind her shoulder.
"Actually, there are two types of beauty, inner and outer," Max says accurately.
"Thank you Max," Ms. Bustier says.
"Well, I have both," Chloe says, "I mean Ladybug chose me to be Queen Bee and she only chooses those who have both."
"Are you sure about that?" Alya asks.
The whole class laughs even Sabrina, who gets an angered look from her best friend.
"Anyway, we will be talking about the fairytale 'Beauty and the Beast'. It is about a prince who is so vain that a fairy cursed him for a certain amount of time, he had an enchanted rose and if he couldn't learn to love by the time the last pedal fell he would stay a beast forever," Ms. Bustier explains.
The bell rings.
"You have three days to read the book," Ms. Bustier says before the class walks out.
"Lila tell the story again," Alya says taking her phone out.
Marinette angerly watches her best friend listen to the lies coming from Lila's mouth.
"Hold on, Nino said that we should trust Alya," Adrien says as he sees Marinette start to walk over and yell at her.
"I thought you said that you and Ladybug were fighting Stormy Weather not Volpina," Alya says.
"They were both there," Lila says trying to cover her tracks.
"Marinette is right, you are a liar, you lied about the Tendonitis, the hearing problem, and about spending time with Prince Ali," Alya says.
"Not cool man," Nino says walking away.
Alya and Nino walk over to Adrien and Marinette.
"You guys were right, she was lying and she is worse than Chloe, I'm sorry we didn't believe you," Alya says, "Are we still friends?"
"Of course but when you hear something that involves me come to me first," Marinette smiles.
"I promise," Alya grabs her best friend and hugs her.
"Come on guys, it's time for history," Adrien says.
