Adrien, Marinette, and Alix walk into class and take their assigned seats.
"Hey is everything okay?" Alya asks Marinette.
"Yeah, I mean it's not like I should believe anything Lila says, besides it's not like Adrien is actually going to the dance with her or Chloe," Marinette says sitting down.
"Good morning class," Ms. Bustier greets them.
"Morning Ms. Bustier," the class responds.
"So how is everyone liking the story?"
"I'm loving it, it has a great universal theme," Adrien says.
"And what theme is that? You can love a horrible beast?" Lila asks.
"No, the theme is that beauty is not skin deep," Alya says.
"It kind of reminds me of The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, the theme I mean," Marinette chimes in.
"What do you mean Marinette?" Ms. Bustier asks.
"Well although the main character in Beauty and the Beast is cursed and the main character in The Hunchback of Notre Dame was born ugly they both have pure hearts," Marinette says.
"Just like me," Chloe says confidently.
"Are you sure about that?" Nino says.
The whole class laughs.
"Okay class, let's get back to work," Ms. Bustier says.
Everything goes okay until lunch.
Adrien, Marinette, Nino, and Alya walk into the cafeteria.
They over hear Lila telling people how she hurt her wrist.
"Do you think anyone else will figure out Lila's lies?" Marinette says as the four friends sit at an empty table.
"Why are all you guys believing her?" A voice comes from behind them.
"Because she is really hurt," Ivan says.
"So you really think that she is best friends with Ladybug? I have seen the things Ladybug has done first hand and Ladybug will only be friends with someone with true beauty," the voice responds.
"I am beautiful," Lila says.
"If you are so beautiful then why do you hate Marinette?" The voice says.
"I hate her because she is a threat and doesn't believe anything I say," Lila says.
"Whatever," the voice says leaving the group.
"That was Alix," Alya says shocked.
"Why is she sitting alone?" Adrien asks as they watch Alix walk over to a deserted table in the back corner of the cafeteria.
"I have no clue," Marinette says as she also looks at their friend.
Marinette sees something fly out of Alix's shirt and levitate next to her.
"Barkk," Marinette whispers to Adrien.
"I'm gonna go invite her to sit with us, I mean she just stood up for Marinette," Adrien says getting up from the table.
"Good idea," Marinette says as she watches her crush walk over to Alix.
"That was a good thing that you did for your friend, you are definitely loyal and Master Fu made a great choice choosing you to be Alpha," Barkk says.
"I guess," Alix says.
"She is right," Adrien says walking behind Alix.
"Oh no," Barkk says flying into Alix's shirt.
