"I know that I'm not supposed to do that but you can't defeat Manipulator without me, and I don't want to do the damage I did before. It is too serious to be reckless right now," Plagg says giving Marinette the Miraculous, "we have all seen what you can do and who you choose, we trust you."
"Let's go," Marinette says as Plagg gets sucked into the Miraculous.
Marinette runs to a janitorial closet, on the way she passes Alpha.
"Have you seen Nathaniel?"
"He is in the art room," Alpha responds.
"Go help Adrien, or at least try to," Marinette says.
Alpha nods and they go their separate ways.
"Tikki, spots on," Marinette says as she walks into the janitor's closet.
Marinette turns into Ladybug and heads to the art room to get her temporary Cat Noir.
"Nathaniel?" Ladybug asks as she walks into the art room.
"Ladybug?"
"Come with me," Ladybug says.
Nathaniel follows the superhero into an empty classroom.
"Cat Noir is missing and left me his Miraculous as a sign, you will fill in for Cat Noir. This is the Cat Miraculous, it gives you the power of destruction. To activate your power say 'Cataclysm', but you only have one shot so don't use it until I tell you. You are to return the Miraculous to me at the end of the battle."
Nathaniel nods and puts the Miraculous on his finger.
"I'm Plagg, just say 'claws out' and you will become Cat Noir," Plagg says coming out of the ring.
"Plagg, claws out," Nathaniel says turning into an exact copy of Cat Noir.
"Okay, this is weird," he says.
"It is for people to believe that you are the real Cat Noir," Ladybug says.
"But what do I do?" Nathaniel says.
"Do you watch martial arts movies?"
"Sometimes," he replies.
"Just twirl the stick to block and if needed use it as a sword, Alpha and I will do the rest."
Nathaniel nods.
"Let's go," Ladybug says as they go into the gym where Alpha is trying to save Adrien.
"Ladybug, you are an awful person, humiliating Lila and making her feel unworthy," Adrien says.
Even knowing that Adrien is under Manipulator's influence the words still pierce her heart.
"Don't listen to him Ladybug, he is under a spell," Alpha says as she uses her stick to try and pry Manipulator's hand open.
"Where is the Akuma?"
"In the earring or necklace," Alpha says.
"Which is it? It can only be one if there is no robot," Ladybug says.
Just then the ground shakes and Manipulator rushes out of the gym.
"Follow her," Ladybug says.
They all follow her out of the gym and to the courtyard.
"You spoke too soon," Cat Noir says.
"We might need some luck," Alpha says as they watch Manipulator jump into the huge robot.
"Lucky Charm," Ladybug says throwing her yo-yo in the air, recieving a picture of her and Adrien and a rope.
"A picture, really?" The current Cat Noir says.
