Camila woke up the next morning feeling awful. She refused to get out of bed. Her head hurt like hell. It felt as if she was having a hangover, even though she wasn't. As for Epifanio, he was having a hangover that morning. He had one too many drinks the previous night, but the plan was still sharp in his head.

Epifanio didn't talk much with his lawyer. He was simply handed the paperwork, was told what to do, and the lawyer left. Epifanio didn't think about the consequences behind his plan. He just thought of it and went with it.

Rosario walked into her mistress's room to find her still in bed staring at the window. Camila was lost deep in thought. Rosario was worried about her. She could tell that Camila loved her husband, but his idea of controlling her like a puppet made her angry.

Honestly, Epifanio really was a changed person now. It was just that his way of expressing that to her was wrong. His old habits came back sometimes. They weren't easy to beat. He neede her help to make the change permanent.

Eventually, Camila got up and ready for the day. She knew she couldn't lie there forever. If she had stayed with Epifanio, she could have slept in as long as she wanted and Epifanio wouldn't have cared. 'No. Don't think about him. It will only cause you pain, and in this business, women can't afford to look weak,' she thought.

Teresa, James, and Pote had all been waiting on her. She put on her serious face and acted as if everything were normal. That it was just another day in the business. James, however, could tell something was bothering her. He was her right-hand man, he would know. The others did not notice anything.

Camila gave them their orders and they went off. Teresa and James would be gone for a while. They headed out to negotiate a deal with King George, another drug dealer except he dealt overseas. They offered them weapons in return for their help to receive the drugs needed to keep the business running.

As for Camila, she stayed at the house. She took care of what needed attending to. Yet her mind was elsewhere. Her mind kept drifting back to a certain man who drugged her. Camila couldn't stop thinking about him. Drugging her made her furious, but at the same time, she found it romantic.

Epifanio, on the other hand, greeted the military colonel that would be part of his protection. He had thanked Colonel Cortez, but their friendship would not last. Cortez agreed to help him take down Camila, but how he did it was another story.

He couldn't figure out why she had left again. She had every reason to stay. She was fine before talking to his campaign manager. 'Could it have been.... No, it couldn't have. Could it?' Epifanio thought.

Neither could stop thinking of the other, but their hate drove them apart. Rosario knew this to be especially true. She noticed Camila could barely focus on her work.

"Are you alright ma'am?" Rosario asked her mistress.

"I'm fine Rosario, thank you. Just lost in thought, and you don't have to call me ma'am. You can call me Camila," she answered.
