Getting ready for the day is hard enough. But getting ready for a humongous social event where a lot of the focus may or may not be on you is even harder. You've got to look presentable. You need to be formal and mature looking, can't show off too much skin, not too much makeup and a ton of other boring shit that I am not about to go through.
And in case you couldn't guess what I was describing, I am going to a humongous social event. Yeah....I hate being in social places too. More of an anti-social person.
Anyways, when I got home, I was too lazy to do any work, so I just watched a movie until I fell asleep. By the time I woke up, it was already 5. I frantically got up and took a shower. I always took a shower before going to parties. You smell bad, otherwise. I dried my hair and then curled it. After curling, I took some strands of hair on both sides and clipped the hair pieces together with a hair clip my mom gave me.
After clipping my hair together, I put on some makeup. Light, but not too light to the point it looks like you don't have makeup on. But also heavy, but not so heavy to the point it looks like you don't know what you are doing and just put some product on your face and called it a day. You know what I mean? Yes? okay.
Anyways, I picked out a dress from the millions of dresses that my father bought me after I took over the company. Said something about "needing to be more lady-like". Didn't give a shit until I had to wear fuckin skirts and dresses. But it's for the reputation of the company, kind of had to.
After looking through my closet for what seemed like hours, I grabbed out a red dress. And paired them together with silver laced heels. I grabbed my diamond handbag and put on some dangly earrings. I placed the necklace my mom gave me before she passed, around my neck. I looked over my outfit one more time and smiled to myself.
(something like this...)
"I did a good job!" I praised.
I turned a few more times, admiring my work, before heading out the door to the car that was parked outside.
"To the party, Sangmin!" I cheered.
"You seem to be quite in the mood for partying, Madam." He said, looking through the rear-view mirror.
"That's cuz I look hot damn, fucking fiiiiine today." I said, flipping my hair over my shoulder.
He laughed. "Ah, did you hear that Madam Yeseul and Young Master Jeno will also be going to the party?"
"Yeah, Yeseul texted me earlier about it." I replied.
While I was napping, Yeseul decided to bother me and text me about what dress she should wear since she was stressing about looking good in front of Jeno. And yes, after 5 years-ish, they are still dating. Fucking hope they get married or else I'm going to kill both of them for wasting my time for caring about them.
"I see." Sangmin said. He returned his attention to the road and the car fell silent.
I pulled out my phone and began to scroll through some of the news. I read a headline that said Jaemin and Yerim had set the date for their wedding.
