Chapter 14

Mina PoV

This guy was fishy and I definitely needed to be careful.

"No, no. I mean, who let you in?" He asked.

"The guard?" I said. I definitely starting to get confused. Who was this guy?

"So...how come you aren't at your office?" Minhyun asked.

He was really, really starting to get on my nerves. "Look," I said, staring him directly in the eye,"I have no idea what you are trying to get at, but you need to give it a rest. Seriously? What is with all the questions?"

He stared at me, shocked.

"Mina, is everything alright?" Jaemin asked, jogging over to me.

"No. And this weird guy who calls himself Minhyun is ruining my day. Stop with your questions, please." I begged him.

The rest of the boys circled around us and I rubbed my temples.

"Hey, why are you here?" Jeno asked,"I haven't seen you around before."

"O-oh. I-I was recentl-ly hired, yeah. I was recently hired." Minhyun stuttered.

I eyed the guy suspiciously. "How'd you get recruited? What are you doing here?"

"W-well, I was working a-at a beauty salon and I just..g-got recruited?" Minhyun said, smiling awkwardly.

"Security." Renjun called.

Minhyun attempted to run, but Haechan and Jeno held him down.

"You're not going anywhere, young man." Jaemin said, clenching his jaw. He turned to look at me and gave me a look of 'are-you-okay?'.

I nodded and gave him a reassuring smile. Staff members came back through the practice room doors with security on their tails. We handed the Minhyun guy to them. He fought with the guards, trying to escape their grasp. I scoffed in amusement as he tried to fight the much taller, buffer, stronger men.

Jeno and Haechan got up from the ground with the help of Renjun and Jisung.

"This won't end well..." I muttered.

"It won't. It really won't." Jeno replied.
