Jaemin PoV
I walked inside and all that was out of order were a few tables and chairs that were clearly thrown. I went to the VIP room first and looked around carefully, occasionally calling out Yerim's name. Next I went to the kitchen. I looked around and then I suddenly heard a scream. I following the scream and was led to a door. It was most likely the pantry.
"Yerim?" I said.
Everything went quiet.
"Yerim, if you're in there, please come out." I said, taking a few steps away from the door.
Nothing happened and then Yerim opened the door gently.
"Jaeminie? What are you doing here?" She asked.
"More like what are you doing here? I thought you said you were meeting a client?" I asked, raising a brow.
"I am. Want to come inside and meet the client?" She asked. She led me inside the room and it was actually a dining room. I looked around the room. My eyes fell upon a buff man.
"Mr. Na!" The man said, standing up and bowing.
"This is our new client. He offered to collaborate on a new project with Appa's company." Yerim said, looking up at me.
"Okay, if that's your explanation for this, then do you have an explanation for why there are so many people outside?" I asked.
Yerim and the man froze for a second.
"We told them to get out of the restaurant in case anyone would sneak up on us listen to our conversation." Yerim quickly said, glancing over to her "client".
I nodded. "Even the waiters?"
"Yep." She said, licking her lips.
She was hiding something. But I just didn't know what. I walked around the room, checking for any holes. I looked under the table and saw a little hole in the ground. I looked back up to my fiancé and her client. I smiled.
"It looks like everything is good in here. Yerim-ah, mind if I join you?" I asked.
Yerim smiled and nodded.
Yerim and her "client" talked business. I kept staring under the table. I looked around the room, looking for any other nooks or crannies. My arm bumped my napkin under the table and I went to grab it, when I saw a finger poking out of the hole. I knew it was Mina. I gently pushed it back in. I could partly see her face and told her to be quiet. I could see her nod.
"Yerim-ah, is there some way to get out of this room, other than that door?" I asked.
"W-what? What kind of question is that?" She asked, laughing nervously.
"Oh nothing." I felt a buzz in my pocket and took out my phone. "Oh, I need to take this call. I'm going to go outside and get it." I said. I kissed Yerim and then walked outside to take the call.
"Jeno. I found her." I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah. There is this hole under the table that Yerim and her so-called client. They are here. I didn't see anyone else but those two, but I'm sure there are others inside." I explained.
"Where's Mina then?" Jeno asked.
"She's under the floorboard. Apparently, there is some type of trap board underneath the table Yerim and this guy are sitting at. Are the cops here yet?" I asked.
"Yeah, they have arrived. We asked them earlier to turn off their sirens so we could get people out safely. They're ready when you're ready." Jeno said.
