Chapter 23

Mina PoV 

I was currently waiting backstage after Dream's performance. It was honestly really good! I loved everything about it. The lights, the clothes, the dance, the song, the vocals, the rap. But most importantly I loved Jaemin. But that wasn't the point. I was here to support the boys on their comeback stage. I brought snacks and drinks for everyone. Even the staff. 

Before coming here, I managed to finish my meeting a little early. It seemed as though it would never end. Luckily, one of the managers had a sudden emergency and needed to leave early. I thought it wasn't right for us to just continue on about the company plans without his voice, so I just decided to pause to meeting and continue it for tomorrow. Everyone else agreed and headed back to their offices, or they just left. I told them I had some plans, so I bid them all farewell before rushing to the nearest coffee shop. I counted up in my head, how many staffs and people would be attending for Dream. After getting all the snacks and drinks, I rushed over to where 'The Show' was being held for the week and quietly headed backstage. By hearing the screams of the fangirls and fanboys, I knew that it was NCT Dream's turn to perform. I made it just in time for their performance to start and I greeted everyone. 

As soon as the boys returned to backstage, we all cheered for the boys and their successful stage. The boys all bowed and thanked everyone for their hard work. Jaemin looked around the room and came into eye contact with me. I smiled before Jaemin looked at me shocked. He wiped off his sweat before running over to me and engulfing me into a sweaty hug. 

"Mm~ It's good to see you, too." I said, hugging him back. 

"I didn't think you'd make it!" Jaemin exclaimed, "Guys! Look who made it!" 

The rest of the boys turned to look in our direction before shouting my name all at once. 

I laughed at their reaction. "Great job out there guys! I'm proud! All of that hard work was worth it! And thank you to the staff as well! Thank you for making this all possible." 

Everyone clapped and cheered for each other. 

"Now, I brought snacks and drinks for everyone! Please, help yourselves." I said.

Jaemin intertwined our fingers and pulled me over to the snack section I set up. 

"Choose one." I said, smiling. 

Jaemin chose the Ryan bear bread. I knew he was going to pick that one.

"It looks like you!" Jaemin exclaimed happily. 

I scowled before gently hitting Jaemin on the shoulder. "Does not! Ryan bear is too cute!" 

"But you're cuter." Jaemin whispered. He gave me a peck on the cheek before skipping away to the couch and eating his bread. 

I huffed in annoyance before taking a seat next to him. I opened my mouth and he fed me some of his bread. 

"Mm! You know what I should do? I should call Yeseul." I said. 

Jaemin nodded, agreeing. "Someone will be happy to see her." 

I laughed, looking over at Jeno who couldn't decided between which snack to take. "Just take both, Jeno-ah." 

Jeno looked at me and smiled, giving me a thumbs-up before happily taking both. The other guys were still drying off and doing touch-ups for the final stage which was the award ceremony. 

I took out my phone and quietly took a picture of Jeno before sending it to Yeseul.
