Katherine looked at the well as she climbed down the steps.

"Eddie, you got a quarter?" Richie asked.

"I wouldn't want to make a wish in that fucking thing," Eddie replied, looking down into the darkness.

"Beverly," Ben called down the well, echoing off the walls.

"How are we supposed to get down there?" Mike questioned.

Katherine looked around and saw a long rope. "I got an idea. Slightly insane and we may die but at least we tried," she said.

"Wow, Kitty-Kat. You know how to lighten a mood," Richie told her.

They moved the rope and dropped it down. Mike yanked on it, to make sure it was strong enough. Bill was the first to go on and climb down. Next, Katherine helped Eddie up with his broken arm and he began to climb down. They went through a small hole in the side of the well. Ben went down next. Then Stan, and Richie. Lastly, there were just Mike and Katherine.

She mentioned for the boy to go first because her boot was already starting to itch and Mike should go because it was easier for him to go down.

While Katherine sunk on the dirty floor for a moment to fix the velcro straps from scratching at her skin, Mike began to reach for the rope.

Henry Bowers came up behind him, hitting Mike in the middle of his back making him yell out in pain.

"Mike!" The losers yelled as Henry pulled him away from the well.

Katherine tried to stand up as Henry stared down at the losers with a bloody face. Standing on her own was painful on her ankle but it was worth it to save Mike.

Henry pulled up the rope. The losers tried to jump for it, but Henry pulled it up completely.

Henry looked back at Mike. "You didn't listen to what I told ya did ya? You should've stayed out of Derry. Your parents didn't and look what happened to them. I still get sad every time I pass that pile of ashes, sad, that I couldn't have done it myself."

Mike went for his gun, but Henry caught onto this and both wrestled for domination. Henry was bigger and stronger and got the gun, taking the time to aim it in between Mike's eyes.

Katherine forced herself up. "Hey, asshole," she called and ran to tackle Henry. She practically groaned in pain as Henry was pushed away from Mike. She looked at him. "Run!"

"You just don't die any time soon, do you. Walker? All the other junkies die off quick. Your time needs to come soon too," Henry told her.

"Not today, mullet boy." She hummed. "I bet your mullet smells like horse shit," she said with a dry chuckle

Henry pushed her back into the floor, climbing over her. He clamped his large hands around her neck, squeezing, leaving the blond gasping for air, trying her best to pry his hands off her.

"Fucking die already," he growled in frustration seeing as she wasn't dying anytime soon.

Katherine took her hand away from his to smack him against the side of his face which threw him off focus. She took the opportunity to jab her thumb in his eye, making him groan.

She grabbed him by his hair, slamming his head against the ground beside her before trying to push him to the side.

He saw this coming and slammed a hand over Katherine's injured ankle making her cry out.

"Katherine!" Bill called out, looking up the well, hearing the sound of her pain. "I sh-should get up there."

"Are you insane? With what?!" Richie asked him.
