Chapter two: The Choice

In the morning I did the usual for getting ready for school and I ended up forgetting to do my math homework. So I rushed right through it and finished in the first five minutes. I thought to my self that I was lucky this time since it wasn't long and that it was easy.Then after resting for a bit since I still had an hour to get to school I just decided to lay down for a while.

Then after an thirty minutes had gone by I decided to leave and walk to school since I was going to get there at least fifteen minutes early. Then as soon as I got to the school I saw Matt already there. I walked up to him and said hello how are you today? He responded with I am good so far. How about you? I am also starting the day good. So what is your first class? It is reading class and it seems pretty interesting so far. I see, well then we have the same class first. That is very interesting but don't expect me to be the one who would not know what is going on since I already know what we are reading in class.

Then after the first two classes we had we had some free time to spare for an hour. During that time period we decided to play some soccer and also race each other. First we started off as racing each other. He had ended up winning by over half a mile since we ran a mile race against each other. Then we had played soccer and took turns being the goalie. I ended up making not even one shot while he had made every shot. Now I was the second best at those things at my school but I didn't expect nothing less from him.

Then after we had finished playing we started to head back and we heard the students screaming that there was a large amount of huge walking lion things at the other side of the school. Then we both had rushed to the other side and had noticed that it was the shadow lions. We were both puzzled to see that they were out during the day and not in the night.

What is going on I yelled! They are probably on the move in the mornings now just like they do at night but in huge numbers this time. The bad thing is that there is no way to be able to stop them without being spotted this time. I guess I have no choice but to have to defeat them. How I said you don't have your weapons with you? You will see said Matt. Then he rushed up to them and as soon as he swung as if holding some thing a sword magically appeared and he had killed one in an instant.

Then I remembered what he had told me. He had said that if someone wanted to hurt them they must have the reason why that is perfect. I stood there wanting to help but didn't have the courage to swoop in like he just did without nothing. I debated weather or not to help but once I saw that he was knocked off by one of them I got angry at them. I then decided to charge right in there and punch it with all of my strength. As soon as my punch had landed it was blown away and my fist seemed to be on fire and it didn't burn at all.

Then I noticed that Matt had gotten up and was next to me and said so that is your powers to be able to kill them. You really are a very interesting person. Now lets end this battle as fast as possible. Then we both charged in and finished off the rest of them but as soon as we had they started to glow. Oh no said Matt! What is going on I said? They are merging together to form something much worse. What is it I said? Its called a Visore and its basically bigger but this time it has wings for faster movements. This would be my second time seeing one and they only form when there are a lot of Shadow Lions killed and there is no avoiding that happening then as soon as it is destroyed everything that had been destroyed or anyone that was hurt in the process is healed.

Then after waiting a few moments there was silence while we waited for it to stop forming in the big shell in the air. Then the shell shattered and the beast came out with huge black wings. Then out of nowhere even Matt had grown wings and he said you can also grow some but they only grow when they are needed also. I decided to go along with what he said and thought of the wings and they grew from my back. Then we both charged right at it and trust me flying is really hard to do when its your first time. He ended up killing it before I even got there but I now know how to fly.

Since that had happened the school was closed for the rest of the day. We had headed home since there was nothing to do.Then time had gone by a bit slow but then at night I started hearing noises again so I decided to go outside and explore just like Matt does and ended up seeing bright lights and I automatically knew that Matt was killing a lot of them in different spots of town extremely fast and I ended up finding none to help him out with.

Then we had met up with each other and I had noticed that he didn't even look tired. He then asked how did your hunting go? I responded with I didn't even find one since youapparentlykilled them all but I am still glad that there was no danger at all this time. I guess we can go home now.

Then we both had walked back home. I had gone to my room again but this time I had decided to research anything on Shadow Lions. I had found nothing on them at all not even stories of them. I then gave up and finally I decided to go to bed. I then doze off once again thinking of the same subject.
