Falling Nights

Chapter four: The New Strength Within

I walked up to the window and looked out and felt the presence was even stronger as I got closer and closer to getting out of the house. As soon as I had felt the dark presence of something outside I rushed right out. Then I looked up at the sky and there was something big up there just staring to look right at me.

I had never seen anything just like it not even in pictures or stories. It was big and it had three heads. It seemed to be around thirteen feet tall. It had a huge sword in its hand and it looked ready for a challenge. As soon as I saw Matt flying towards it I had started to rush right at it also to at least help a bit. Then as soon as it had noticed Matt it swung its huge sword and flung Matt across the sky as if he was some type of baseball.

Then after having seen that I was even more desperate to hit it and do some type of damage. Then after I had charged at it I was blown away by it moving its arm so it missed its swing. I was relieved that I wasn't cut but I wondered what had happened to Matt. Then out of nowhere saw Matt rush right in again and still the same result. Then I tried one more time but this time I rushed right in but this time in had caught me and threw me in the air and now he just started to swing his sword but instead of hitting me I saw that it had hit Matt and noticed that his sword was broken at the same time then he fell down towards the ground and I caught him and put him down gently on the ground.

Then after having witnessed what had happened to him I had grown an extra pair of wings then out of nowhere a sword came out of nowhere just like Matt's did. I then decided that I would use the new powers against the fearsome beast. I then charged right at it and as soon as I swung the sword it also swung but this time the swings were even and I wasn't blown away by its fearsome swing like me and Matt were to begin with.

Then after having so many even swings on each other I finally landed a hit and decapitated its left arm. Now I had needed to either decapitate its heads or at least its other arm which is even worse since it could still try to kill me with that big sword. I then swung at it but only ended up missing every slash. Then we both swung at the same time but this time I pushed even harder and broke right through its sword. I then continued to charge at it and that time I actually decapitated its head that was to the right. Then it started to go on a rampage.

I then noticed that in doing that it had grown bigger. I then immediately knew to try to decapitate the other two heads as soon as possible before it would grow bigger again by cutting off another head. So this time I charged right at it one last time and it tried to block my charge and ended up loosing an arm with the rest of its heads. Then after having done that itdisappearedcompletelyin a big white flash that had gone through the whole town.

Then after having seen all of that I rushed to Matt and picked him up and rushed right towards the hospital. They asked what happened? It doesn't matter! Just help him already! I only yelled that at them every time they had asked. They then treated him and they said to wait patiently for his friend to wake up since he was unconscious. They said that he may not wake up for some time so I waited there at the hospital. I only ended up hurting him I thought. I will try to never let anyone get hurt ever again I thought to myself. After a few hours I didn't realize it but I only ended up falling asleep at the hospital for only an thirty minutes.
