Chapter thirteen: The Second Challenge

We have traveled for the past few days and are now only a mile away from the second challenge.  We decide to rest before we got ourselves into a battle. We decide to talk for a bit and after an hour had gone by we got up and continued towards the destination. 

Lets go! We now are heading towards the next challenge. What is our next enemy? It might be something big like the last time. I really hope it isn't something big again. I really hated trying to defeat that serpent. Then Matt responds your right about that but it shows a picture of a couple of eagles I think. Lets watch the sky while reaching the target.

We walk for a while and no signs of anything at all. We then stop again at a distance just to rest and reload on any supply we find useful with our guide. We then start to go after searching for what we needed. I then heard a huge noise in a distance but nothing in sight.

So we walk cautiously towards our second destination and we have had no sights of anything flying around overhead. We then start hearing screeching noises from a distance and also from above. We then reacted to the noises and jumped into the woods in different directions. We then noticed that they really were eagles but they were above the size they were supposed to be. They were eight feet tall and a wingspan of an amazing twenty feet long.

We then saw that there wings had some type of spikes as if they were there for combat. Then we saw two fighting over a big deer. They tore it apart then they continued to fight since neither of them got the whole deer to eat. Then they started to stab each other over and over again. They only ended up killing each other in the end having fought a horrifying battle. We had now experienced  a terrifying thirty minutes of killing between the two enormous birds.

The leader just stood there watching as if it was having a fun time. It then stared to move forwards as if to eat the remains and then stopped right in front of them. We then noticed that we had been spotted by it somehow and we then charged at the huge bird at its through on both sides like we had done with the snake then finished him off. It vanished instantly just like the snake did. 

The other eagles reacted to that and spotted us instantly. They then charged at us but at the same time some of them crashed with each other and ended up stabbing each other on there way to kill us. We saw our chance and we used our wind and fire magic combo. We then saw that the eagles were still alive but barely. We tried it once more  and this time they were all burned down to a crisp. We then start to walk away as soon as possible just in case there were reinforcements.
