Klaus POV
"Are we there yet?" I ask Marcel as we pull into the drive-thru and park the car. The loud crowd and blasting music told me that the place was a favourite among the masses that probably lived here.
Currently, I was with Marcel, who was taking me to a club to meet some people that could help us against the threat that was looming over New Orleans now, and by that, I mean Mikael, Ester and Dahlia had decided to join forces.
As if one of them wasn't enough, they had to develop their own league and make my life miserable together. They have a fairly large army consisting of compelled vampires, witches and werewolves.
So here we were, in the club called "Vervain", very subtle if I might add, and waiting for their performance to end since they were seeing us after it.
"Do you even know how they look like Marcellus?" I asked him, still a bit sceptical of this plan, after all, this was a time we couldn't blindly trust people.
"No, but I am sure that they know us" he answers, glancing at the time as we seat on a free table
"I thought we had the element of surprise," I said annoyed.
Marcel laughed "As if they will let a stranger near their queen.... But wait a second, then what did you think when I told you that I arranged a meeting with them," he said.
"I thought we were scouting the perimeter and seeing if they were truly saying the truth or lying," I said.
"look, Klaus, I know that you are a little stressed that your parents have come back from the dead and are waging a war against us but you need to think clearly" he assures me
"They are our best shot, so if they are telling the truth about them having a creature more powerful than an original, then it might help us if not, then it's going to be a blood bath, now look their performance is starting, I heard they have the best singer in the whole world" he finished.
All the lights went out and the stage lit up. Then a British guy came and announced that a Gorgeous was going to sing a song called London boy by Taylor swift.
Then all hell broke inside me as I saw Caroline Forbes walkout, her hair looking as golden as ever, her eyes, like a deep blue ocean holding me captive, and her smile, her smile as radiant as ever.
(Bold is Caroline singing)
I love my hometown as much as Motown, I love SoCal
And you know I love Springsteen, faded blue jeans, Tennessee whiskey
But something happened, I heard him laughing
I saw the dimples first and then I heard the accent
They say home is where the heart is
But that's not where mine livesYou know I love a London boy
I enjoy walking Camden Market in the afternoon
He likes my American smile, like a child when our eyes meet
Darling, I fancy you
Took me back to Highgate, met all of his best mates
So I guess all the rumours are true
You know I love a London boy
Boy, I fancy you (Ooh)She sang like an angel and I could not stop myself from being enchanted by it, enchanted by every silver of her voice, her every smile she threw so carelessly to others.
In all, I was captivated by her...
