We Get A Brother Back From Dead

Stefan POV

After Rebekah blacked out, we took her to Caroline's room and put her on Caroline's bed so that she could at least be comfortable.

"Does anyone want to explain, how my brother- whom your mystic falls gang killed- is still alive?" Klaus said with a tone that told me that he did not want us avoiding the subject any longer.

"Well...you know how I bought Katherine back from the other side right, well me and bonnie decided to bring back Kol too," Caroline said slowly, trying not to make Klaus anymore mad than he was.

"Why didn't he come back to me, to our family, did you not tell him that we were in New Orleans?" Klaus asked clearly angry that Kol did not come to visit him.

I could not blame Klaus, I mean if I found out that my brother had come back from the dead and had not come to see me I would be mad, but my brother, Damon is out there somewhere travelling the world with Elena and I am happy for him.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Caroline said "You can see him tomorrow, they were planning on coming next week but I can tell them to come tomorrow, if you want to that is" and I wanted to go hide in a closet because Caroline and Klaus were staring at each other with such intensity that I thought I was intruding in on a private moment.

Then Klaus looked away and cleared his throat and I could see that Caroline was blushing crazy like a tomato, it was so funny that I had to stifle my laughter.

"Who's they, Love, I thought Kol was the only one" he asked with a confused expression.

"My Father, he and Kol are together, Kol wanted to know more about him I guess" she said with a tone that told me she was still flustered.

"That would be much appreciated, Love" was all Klaus said with a genuine smile and soft tone that I knew was specially reserved for Caroline, before he left, taking Rebekah with him.

"What was that, Caroline?" I asked her in a teasing tone because I knew it would make Caroline mad and it did.

"Nothing, Stefan, I was just trying to make him see reason" she said clearing her throat.

"Are you sure you don't have feelings for him, Caroline, you do know that no one her will judge you right?" I asked her, all feelings of teasing her gone, I wanted her to open up to me because I knew she would not tell anyone else.

"He has a daughter, Stefan, I have a daughter and son and besides this is no time to think about all this stuff, I have a war on my hands, one that I need to win" she said with a pained expression and I could not help but admire.

"But you still have feelings for him, Right?" I said laughing and she threw a pillow at me before laughing with me.

Next day we were in a Ball type room as Caroline had thrown a party where we were going to meet Kol and Silas, Caroline was singing so she would meet them before going backstage and changing.

The Bar was packed as the locals had gotten that Caroline was going to perform tonight and the dress code was formal so it looked like we wee in a Opera house.

When Silas and Kol entered, Caroline ran and embraced Silas in a hug as I had talked with her all night and told her how much he loved her, he looked surprised but did not question it and hugged her back with the same vigour.

Kol and the rest of the Mikealson Clan looked like they were having a discussion and they all hugged Kol when it ended.

Then it was time to go to stage and Caroline left to change.
