Klaus POV
She hadn't changed at all. Still the vibrant and full of light Caroline Forbes I knew. It is hard to believe that I left her in mystic falls, that I had to leave her in that wrenched town
After all this time, seeing her still invoked the deepest and darkest secrets and feeling that I had for her, I couldn't believe that my feelings had not changed.
I mean I knew they would never change but at I had thought that they would at least dampen. But after seeing her again, it all came back with full force, like the doors of a dam opening after a long time.
Before I could think more about it marcels voice brings me out of my thoughts.
"Why are you grinning like a kid on Christmas. Anything I should know about before they come here" he said pointing at Caroline and Stefan who was going deeper into the club and disappeared.
"She's a friend from Mystic falls Marcellus, nothing you need to worry about, but that guy with her used to be one of Rebekah's love interest so I think you should be a little worried," I said.
"Look Klaus I don't care about that guy with funny hair but I need to know that you in no way are enemies to the Queen because she is our last hope at defeating your parents," he said.
"No, Marcellus we are far from enemies" I murmured.
"What did you say ?" he asked.
"Nothing, they will be here in some time and we should get ready to convince them to join our cause," I said.
"But you said that you weren't enemies," Marcellus said in a confused voice and I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes
"That doesn't necessarily mean that we are best of friends Marcellus," I said in an irritated voice. He was going to say something but I beat him to him "If you ask me another question marcel, I am going to tear out your liver" I said completely angry now.
"No one is tearing anyone's liver," an angelic voice said.
"At least not now," another voice said.
"Shut up Enzo," Caroline said. I noticed that she had changed from her previous clothes to new ones.
"Hello, Klaus" and all I could think was about what had happened in the woods and how I had thought that it would at least be a century before I would see her again. I guess she read my thoughts because she said "I would not be able to keep away from you that long Klaus"
Marcel raised an eyebrow and Caroline caught that too because she raised her eyebrows at me. "You didn't tell your friend over here about me, I thought you would have told the world" she joked
"you want to introduce us to each other Klaus" marcel said.
"Marcel meet Caroline Forbes and Caroline meet Marcellus Gerard," I said finally introducing to each other.
