Elijah POV

"Freya, would you mind telling us what Miss Forbes told you?" I ask my sister as we drive towards an unknown destination, my eyes constantly wandering towards Katerina as I look at her dark curls and doe eyes. One look at her wasn't enough, I needed to constantly bathe her in my attention.

"To tell the truth, I don't think I can explain it like Caroline, Elijah, maybe it's better if she's the one to break it to you," Freya says, her mouth in a gentle but firm smile as her eyes crinkle with secret anxiousness and excitement.

"So, when are we arriving exactly? I mean we've been on the road for hours" Katerina complains, her annoyed expression softening when she looks at me, "Are you alright, Elijah, you look a little pale"

"My dear brother forgot to have his morning snack," Niklaus says and I scoff while Katerina looks at me with concern, her eyebrows scrunched up and showing her stress lines prominently.

After Katerina asked me if I was alright, Niklaus and her bickered all the way to the destination. While Katerina was flying insults at him, Niklaus threatened to tear out her liver (lol same old Klaus)

"I really don't see what Caroline likes in you, you're so rude and egotistical" Katerina blurts as Niklaus turns red at the words she just said.

"Shut the bloody hell up" is all Niklaus says before looking outside the moving car and smiling softly, a red tint still staining his cheeks.

"Let's play some music"

After listening to Taylor Swift for almost an hour we finally arrive at an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the woods. The trees near it giving it an enchanted vibe.

"What took you so long," Miss Forbes says as she steps out of the warehouse, balancing Regina and Malcolm in her hands. Which was proving to be a difficult task considering she had a pack of bottle full of herbs and other spices with her.

Seems like Niklaus also saw this and vamp speeded towards her and took both of the children. Leaving Caroline alone with all the spices. She smiles at him which softens his eyes in return.

I also move towards them and take one of the twins, Malcolm, in my arms, his hands come to sprawl behind my neck at he plays with my hair and I smile, a wide smile at the unconcerned behaviour of the little boy who seemed to love my hair.

"He truly is precious, isn't he?" Katrina says as she comes to stand beside me, putting an arm around my own and I nod my head in agreement.

"So, why did u call us here Love," Niklaus asks her as Freya comes forward and takes Regina out of Klaus's hands.

"Why is everyone taking the kids out of my hand?" Niklaus huff's before Caroline swings her arm with his which shuts him up, a smirk on his lips.

"To answer your question Elijah, we are bringing your brother back from the dead" she answers, a sad smile on her face.

"Are we talking about Finn here? Wasn't he already alive?" Klaus says, and I am mystified that he isn't throwing a tantrum at bringing Finn back.

"All thanks to the power of Caroline, Elijah," Katerina says sensing my thoughts.

"Last I heard of him he was seeing a witch for ways to bring someone back" Niklaus grunts.

"Well, he messed with the wrong witch and was killed by the closest vampire coven to him as part of treason committed," she says, the dark circles under her eyes still looking as fresh as ever.

"Well that sucks"

"Yes it does Katerina," Freya says rudely, taking Katherine's unbothered attitude as disrespect towards our dead brother.

"And we are resurrecting him while mother dearest is still alive? Are we sure he won't go running to the woman who started this all? All I'm saying, Caroline, is that maybe it isn't in our best option to resurrect Finn without any leverage or white oak stake don't you think?" Niklaus says, and I see his point as sharp as a sword.

"You think I haven't thought about that Klaus?" Miss Forbes scoffs, "I am resurrecting Sage with him, I am not taking any chances with your family when I have children present"

"Also," she starts again, biting her lips "I have a white oak stake with me"

Immediately after hearing that I vamp speed towards her, taking her revelation as a threat to my family, but am pushed back as Klaus moves faster and takes Caroline away, pushing me to the ground on the process, making me shield the baby Malcolm in my arms and Caroline gasps and runs over to me, but Katerina crosses over first, taking the baby from my hands and moving away.

 "I apologise, Miss Forbes, I wasn't in my right mind, and I'm sorry for any hurt I caused to your child"

"It's quite alright-" she starts but Niklaus cuts him off, anger radiating off in waves at his every word thrown towards me.

"Have you gone bonkers Elijah, attacking Caroline? Do you not see what she means to me and what she's doing for our family? Hurting her child in the process?"

"Stop! I think we should just start the spell, he's already apologised enough, give your brother a break Klaus" Miss Forbes says but looks wary of me, and I go in to take the child back from Katerina but Klaus speeds forward, taking Malcolm from my arms, as I sulk, already missing the warmth of the Child's body.

"Well, let's get started on the spell, our brother and his lover aren't going to be resurrected themselves," Freya says breaking the tension.

"Yes they wont"
