"Fuck I forgot how much disapparating hurts." Donghyuck breathed out, stumbling slightly with the girl still in his arms. However he shook it off and tried to rush discreetly up the stairs and into a tower that stood high above Hogwarts, to where he knew a certain somebody would be. He clambered up the stairs and panted as he entered the open plan floor that lead to a balcony.
There indeed stood someone, leaning on the balcony, looking out at the surroundings. "Jaemin." Donghyuck hurriedly said, tone hinted with urgency. At this name, Jaemin looked back and his eyes met Donghyuck's but travelled down to the girl in his arms- unconscious.
Jaemin didn't say anything, but he looked back at Donghyuck and waiting for some kind of explanation. "Lucius called me and Malfoy- I have to go back they'll know I've gone." Donghyuck rushed out, walking towards Jaemin. Jaemin realised what he was insinuating and took steps away. "No Donghyuck." Jaemin shook his head, jaw clenched.
"Please, he's going to kill me if I'm not there."
"You should have left her for her friends to find her." Jaemin emphasised on the word friends, glaring into Donghyuck's eyes. "We aren't her friends okay? We're Slytherin's and we can't mix with her because of-"
"Keep your voice down!" Donghyuck hissed, looking around. "Take her back." Jaemin commanded, turning away from the two, nails indenting cresent moons on his palms. Donghyuck placed the girl onto the sofa next to the wall. "Jaemin just fix her wounds at least- no one deserves to die this way, not even your b-" "Shut up." Jaemin growled, pushing Donghyuck to the wall and grabbing his collars. "Don't say his name."
Donghyuck realised the mistake he made and his facial expression softened. "Jaemin, forget the fact she is a Ravenclaw- forget the fact you fucking hate her and just...save her."
And that's how Jaemin was left alone with the girl in an empty room.
