They disapparated with success as they layed on the leaf covered ground, the trees enclosing them with safety, but the underlying lonesomeness lingered.
Nari opened her eyes when her body jolted onto the ground. She gasped harshly as a wave of pain hit her, choking on her agony, she layed panting on the cold floor.
Another wave of pain pulsated through her shoulder and she winced, her face scrunching up as she bought a hand to her shoulder and pressed on it.
Nari's eyes widened and her heart dropped- pushing herself into a seated position.
It was Renjun.
Nari wasn't hurt, but Renjun was- she scurried to her feet and her eyes scanned the area- looking for the boy in the white shirt. Her eyes found his figure laying on the floor and automatically, her feet carried her towards him with her heart pounding.
She dropped to her knees next to him and her throat dried in horror. Renjun layed on the floor, panting with severe agony, eyes screwed close. His breaths were shaky and he balled his fists up and gritted his teeth.
"Oh my God." Nari breathed out from beside him, her mind going into overdrive as the boy layed there. Her eyes fell to his shoulder which his blood had been seeping through into his shirt.
"Renjun-" she began and placed her hand on his ribcage, watching as his body began to shake and writhe in pain. "Renjun, hey it's okay. It's okay, you're okay, just breathe okay." She repeated, trying to reassure herself more than anyone else.
He gasped in pain and his eyes opened, watering as he looked up at the sky. "Junnie-" she began panicking, her hand cupping his cheek to see if he was okay.
By now the others were up and in shock. "Quick, in my bag- a potion named the 'Essence of Dittany'." She choked out and Jeno hurriedly savaged through her bag for the said potion.
Nari's eyes began to tear up slightly, ears ringing and hands shaking as her fingers fumbled with his buttons, undoing them. She was frantic whilst trying to get his shirt off, seeing the amount of blood made her feel sick.
"I-it's okay." Renjun stammered out in pain, his hand enclosing over her shaking ones. He closed his eyes and his head fell back as he groaned out in pain again, chest rising and falling.
Nari shook her head and looked over at Jeno. "Hurry up!" Jeno fumbled with the bag and pulled something out. "I-im oka-" "Shut up and let me take your clothes off." Nari cut him off and pushed the shirt off his shoulder and winced at the sight.
His arm was cut at the shoulder, blood seeping at a fast rate. Her eyes twitched in nausea and her stomach churned at the sight. It was bad.
Renjun whined in pain, his bottom lip held hostage by his teeth. "Shh, it's okay." She said soothingly, running her hand through his hair.
Jeno ran over and gasped at the sight. "Nari his arm-" "I know just give it!" She yelled out. Jeno gave it to Nari and winced at Renjun's cries. "I-it's going to sting a little." She rushed out, placing a hand on his chest to stop him moving.
Nari began to put droplets of it on his arm and he flinched in pain, his tears gathering in his eyes. Renjun yelped out in pain and Nari kept apologising.
"I'm sorry, it's okay it's nearly over love it's okay."
The cut began to heal but it was painful. Tears were falling down her cheeks as she put the potion down, Renjun's breathing fell normally and his painful cries died down.
Nari slumped back on her heels in relief, looking down at her blood stained hands. Jisung and Chenle gripped onto each other as they watched it all unfold and Mark's guilt rose.
Renjun's panting calmed down but his breaths were still shaky. Nari wiped her tears and helped him to sit up, he winced as he did, the air hitting his sealed wound. She kneeled down in front of him, palms cupping his cheeks and gazing into his eyes worriedly.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry, do you feel better now? Should we go to a doctor-" "I'm okay Ri." His whispered, throat hoarse and dry.
His hand trailed up to hers and his fingers fell in between hers that layed on his cheeks.
Renjun's eyes fell to hers and she became aware of the lack of space between them- also the lack of clothing on his part. Her mind went blank and she felt entranced, stuck as she looked into his warm and inviting eyes.
Her eyes involuntarily flickered down to his lips and her eyes widened in realisation as she pushed herself off of him, leaving him sitting on the floor as she walked off suddenly.
