"Renjun? Jun!"
"I'm here, don't worry." Renjun said, walking over to a worried Nari. She sighed out of relief and threw her arms over his neck. "Thank God, I thought you might have gotten hurt again." She mumbled into his neck, tightening her grip.
He chuckled slightly and ran a hand down her back comfortingly. "Is big old Nari worried about me?" He teased and Nari pulled away from him with a glare.
"Shut up." She grumbled, elbowing him slightly and he gasped, clutching his side. "Oh my god, I didn't mean to-"
The laughter bubbling from his lips made Nari purse her lips shut and scoff. "Wow." She shook her head, dramatically walking away.
Renjun pouted and walked after her. "Nari my Butterfly-" "You still remember?" Nari questioned, her eyes sparkling and lips pulled into a smile. "How could I not?"
The snapping of a twig caught all of their attention and Jeno gasped, in front of him was a snatcher.
Multiple actually.
"Hello beautiful." A voice from behind Nari made her jump and she immediately ran to Renjun's side, intertwining her fingers through his- a habit she always seemed to have.
They all glanced at each other before they took off, all running in the same direction, weaving through trees. Renjun tightened his grip on Nari's hand as the snatchers began after them.
The wind hit against them as they ran as fast as they could, carrying through her hair and elevating the hint of her cherry based shampoo that contained a hint of daisies.
Spells began to shoot towards the 6 running and Nari gasped when she narrowly missed one. "Are you okay?" Renjun asked, weaving them through trees and Nari managed a yes.
But their running came to an end once they found themselves surrounded. The 5 of them stopped running, trying to look out for Mark. Nari saw him and rashly made a decision, she tightened her grip on Renjun's hand and lifted her wand to Mark- shooting out a spell that sent him flying to the ground.
Mark's face began to distort into a face that didn't look like his, Mark panted on the floor as the Snatchers came to a close towards them.
Nari's hand lefted Renjun's when she got pulled backwards.
"Don't touch her!" He yelled, trying to lunge towards them but he also got pulled backwards and punched in the stomach.
"Leave him alone!" "Your boyfriend will get much worse than that if he doesn't learn to behave." One grumbled.
"What happened to you ugly?" One asked Mark and the Man holding Mark turned to the leader. "No, not you." The leader said, turning back to a unrecognisable Mark.
"What's your name?"
"Dudley, Vernon Dudley."
The Man raised his brows and walked over to Nari. "What do they call you?" He asked lowly, standing way too close to her. "Penelope Clearwater." She stated without a trace of a lie.
The Man raised his hand towards Nari and raked his hands through her hair. "You fucker-" Renjun was cut off by another blow to his stomach and the Man turned around at the sound of it, dropping Nari's hair.
"There's no Vernon Dudley in his wand history." A snatcher stated. "Hear that ugly, list says you're lying." The snatcher moved Mark's hair out his forehead, revealing the Mark.
"Change of plan, we're not taking them to the ministry."
