It had been 3 months since the end of the last year. Three months since Dumbledore had died. Three months since she last saw Jaemin and Donghyuck. Three months and she was still in love- well partly. She was coping and she now knew her worth- yet there were lingering feelings for him.
Nari hadn't seen anyone at all, her friends had tried to contact her in the break yet she didn't have the energy to reply.
A knock on Mark's door made him jolt and he hesitantly stalked towards it, opening it slightly and a huge smile invaded his lips. "Hi." Jeno greeted, standing by the door and Mark took the appearance of his friend after three whole months. Mark stepped forward and enveloped him in a hug, and looked behind Jeno to see familiar faces.
One by one, he hugged them. Jisung, Chenle and Renjun. Nari? There was no sign of her.
They all began conversing and catching up when another knock broke the atmosphere. " 'Ello Mark!" The energetic voice of Hagrid spoke out. "Hagrid!"
Several figures entered the house and Mark was taken aback. "Let's get under cover before someone finds us eh?" Mad eyed moody said, entering the room. Followed by the Weasely siblings, Arthur and Hermione. Yet that wasn't all, more and more people entered yet there was one face missing.
Nari.
As everyone began to converse, mad eyed moody pushed past and grumbled angrily. "You can all catch up later, we've got to get a move on." The chattering died down. "Mark you're under age, so you've still got the trace on you." "What's the trace?" "If you sneeze, the minister will know who wipes your nose- the point is we have to use transport the trace can't detect- we'll go in pairs."
Whilst everyone had their full attention on the man in front giving orders- Jeong Nari slipped into the house, successful as no one had seen her yet.
"I reckon there'll be people out there waiting for us." Mad eyed moody continued. "They won't know which Mark Lee is the real one." "The real one?" Mark quirked a brow up and the man took something out of his pocket. "I believe you're familiar with this particular brew." Moody said, smirking as he opened the cork. "No." Mark stated, not liking the idea. "Absolutely not."
Nari, who was leaning at the door frame, spoke up. "Told you he'd take it well."
Everyone's eyes were drawn to the girl at the door and some eyes widened at her newly cut hair. "Nari." Renjun started, gawking at the fact she looked so different. "Alright Nari as discussed." Mad eyed moody nodded and Nari stepped forward and yanked out a piece of Mark's hair. "Fuck- what was that for?" He yelped, rubbing the back of his head as Nari dropped the hair into the potion.
Moody limped around the room, allowing everyone to take a sip. "For those of you who haven't taken polyjuice potion before, fair warning- it tastes like goblin piss."
Everyone began to transform into Mark, and once it was complete- they all stood waiting for what was to come. "Hagrid you take Mark and the rest of you- get into pairs."
Renjun- who now looked like Mark, hurried towards Nari and flung his arms around her- the traces of cherry with hints of daisies wafted past him. "I missed you." He muttered, regarding the fact Nari now looked like Mark and she nodded, clinging onto him tighter. "So did I."
