"Do you think he would have done it- Jaemin?" Chenle asked out loud, all of them gathered at the familiar astronomy tower. Nari stared out into the horizon as she sat exactly where her and Jaemin spent most of their time.
She sat alone, away from the rest. Renjun's eyes never left his best friend and he bit back the urge to talk badly of Jaemin in front of her. "No...no he was lowering his wand." Mark spoke, sighing slightly. They all shared a glance at looked at Nari who hadn't moved.
"Did he say where he was going?" Jeno asked the girl and she dropped her hands from her knees and shrugged slightly. "Did he not say bye?" Jisung asked confused. "Did you break up?"
Nari exhaled harshly and stood up, her puffy red eyes already speaking measures. "I'm going to sleep." She said emotionlessly, dragging herself to the stairs and out of sight, their eyes following her.

"Hey..." His voice trailed off, standing by the door of her room as her cries subsided once she heard him. She frantically wiped her tears and sniffled. "Can I come in?" He asked softly, watched as she nodded slightly- still not facing him. Renjun sighed, feeling angry at the Slytherin who had hurt her, but more at himself for allowing her to get hurt.
Nari sat cross legged on her bed, bundled in the warmest fluffy jumper she could find (that was Renjun's she stole) and nice fluffy socks. Her hair was down, and her eyes were red- yet he still found her breathtakingly beautiful.
He peered at her, watching as her face glistened from the remains of tears and she gazed at the picture frame on the windowsill of her and Jaemin. Jealousy definitely rose but her feelings were more worthy than his unrequited love. "Hey," he cooed gently, rubbing her back as she began to cry again. Nari shook her head and attempted to stop herself from crying.
"I-im sorry." She hiccuped through her tears and Renjun shook his head, getting off the bed and kneeling in front of her. "Don't say sorry Nari, you're allowed to be upset, it's okay." He assured her, his thumb gently rubbing her knee. He smiled up at her and she couldn't help but smile back at him.
"He never loved me Jun." She said, blowing air out of her mouth to calm her down and Renjun looked up at her defiantly. "Then fuck him." He stated and Nari looked at him shocked. "If he never loved you, then he's missing out on such a beautiful, funny and amazing girl. You shouldn't cry over him, you're so much better than him, you deserve more than what he gave you Nari. Don't get upset over such a dickhead, you have a heart of gold Ri, you really do and it's his loss for not getting the chance to explore that." Renjun ranted, his heart bursting as he did so. He wanted to desperately to tell her- but he couldn't. He couldn't be so selfish in this situation.
Nari laughed through her tears with joy and nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. Renjun, in an awkward position, stood up and so did she. He snaked his arms around her waist and they both stood there in each others arms. Her nose brushed against his neck and the soothing scent of his citrus based perfume calmed her down immensely.
"Thank you for being the greatest best friend ever."
