Nari sat up in a panic watching Renjun swallow down the pain. "Why would you do tha-" she was cut off by him pushing her back down and allowing Jeno's mother to tend to her wounds. Thankfully there was no great damage but it would scar.
Renjun's pain subsided as the wound on her body was covered by a bandage but he still felt the dull throbbing sensation. Nari gazed up at Renjun through her wet tear coated lashes and wondered why he'd do that. She looked down at her lap, the once white shirt stained red and her eyes drew up to him again, noticing the lack of clothing. Her heart lurched as he made eye contact with her and she quickly looked back down at the shirt and trying to ignore the blush rising on her cheeks.
The door swung open and Jeno rushed inside- hugging his mother. "Nari what happened?" Chenle gasped and everyone turned to her. She offered a reassuring smile in return. "I'm fine guys." "Renjun why haven't you got a shirt on?"

"Are you okay now Noona?" Jisung asked with concern, frowning at the fact she has gotten hurt. Nari nodded and ruffled his hair, walking past him and up the stairs with a heavy heart.
Did Jaemin feel her pain? Surely they were still bonded, right? However even then, she hadn't felt anything from the bond- so were they even bonded anymore?
Nari reached her room to stay in today and with a heavy sigh, she fell to the bed. Resting her elbows on her knees, she ran a hand through her hair and her eyes caught sight of her phone. Internally debating with herself, her thumb danced over his name.
Should she?
But she didn't, in the end she scrolled through her camera roll with a sad smile. Was it really all fake? Was his smiles fake? Was the love fake?
"Fuck it." She muttered, and without hesitation pressing his name and shakily bringing the phone to her ear. It rang a few times and with every passing ring her heart hurt more.
The sound of the ringing stopping and slightly breathing made her heart lurch. Unknown to her, Renjun had just reached the room- about to enter when he accidentally heard what was going on.
"Hello?" Jaemin asked confused, not knowing it was Nari as he made the effort to delete her everywhere. Her breath got hitched in her throat and tears sprung to her eyes. Her mouth went dry and all the words she wanted to say choked her.
"Hello? Who is this?" "..Nari." she managed out and the deafening silence on the other side made her hopes diminish. "Oh." Was all he said, and in the background the sound of Donghyuck singing bought a smile to her lips.
"Jaemin I-" "Who's on the phone Jaemin?" Donghyuck asked, watching how his cousin had the phone to his ear but wasn't replying. "Wrong number." He replied and before she could speak, he ended the call.
