I felt a cold breeze in my skin and I knew I was outside already. Silence. It was completely silent outside. I stopped fighting against the man, it wasn't useful. I lifted my head up and saw my house as we got farther from it with each step he took. It was completely dark.

Think Ava, you can't get in that car. If I get in the car they will do the worst. I knew it. I knew that they were going to sold or use me. Think. Think. Think.

I looked around and noticed we were the only ones outside, I had an advantage. I could easily run and lost this man and the idea seemed easy but it was a lot different doing it. I could escape from him, but the problem was how. I needed to do something.

I suddenly looked at my right and saw someone laying in the floor. Wait.

At my right there was Oliver, my guard, he was still breathing but barely. He looked at me with shocking eyes, but he couldn't move. I noticed that he was shot on the leg twice and blood came out of his mouth. He began moving and I stared at him with tears on my eyes. What was he going to do?.

He slowly took his gun out and began pointing at the man. He shot. I closed my eyes in fear thinking that he shot me accidentally, but he didn't. Seconds later I fell down. I fell so hard with my back as he fell over me. I lost my breath by the impact. I couldn't breathe until seconds passed until I did. The man yelled in pain since he was shot on the leg.

"Fuck!," he yelled in pain.

I began pushing him away trying to escape from him, but his hands landed on my neck. He was choking me. I felt pain on my neck as he hold me tighter. I felt the tears on my eyes and I began moving my hands trying to push him away. Wait. Please.

My vision was turning black until I heard another gunshot. He fell over me. He was dead. I continued crying while I moved his body and I began shaking more. I was in complete shock as I stood up and ran towards Oliver.

"Oliver!,"I said as I fell into my knees beside him. I looked at his leg. "Oliver! Let me help you I..."

"Ava, you need to run now. They will find you," he said agonizing.

"I can't. I can't leave them in here neither you," I said crying as I felt my tears in my cheeks.

"Just go Ava, if you don't they will fucking kill you!," he said. "Leave!"

I stood up shaking, "Thank You Oliver." He saved my life but I couldn't save him and it hurt so much.

I turned around and left him behind.

I began running through the woods. I didn't know where I was going but I needed to hide. I felt the sweat on my forehead as I continued running. Where was I supposed to go?. Think.

I continued crying. I just wanted to go back and save my parents. Are they still alive?. Please God, I beg you. Keep them alive, help me. Please.

I felt someone behind me, but I never looked back. I knew it. I felt it. I heard as he got closer. I began running faster as my fear increased. It was completely dark. I just needed to go away. Think Ava, you need to hide. Shit.

There were only trees and nothing else. I began climbing a tree with many leaves which helped me to hide easily. This was the only idea I had on my mind, but I didn't have another choice. I continued stepping and holding the tree branches as I climbed up.

I sat down on a branch and it was very high from here. I stayed completely still as I recovered from running and everything that had just happened. I stayed in silence but I heard something. Wait.

I looked below and froze. The tall man and two of his guards. Did they saw me?. Please don't.

"Look for her everywhere now!, I lost my best man because of that bitch," the tall man said. "Fuck!"

The other man nodded and both of them left. I froze. The tall man began moving around desperate until he looked upwards. Shit. Shit. Shit. I covered my mouth with one hand and I looked upwards. Did he saw me?. I stood still but seconds later I heard him going away.

What was I supposed to do now?.
I needed to stay here at least for a good time, just to be completely sure they wouldn't be near. Think.

•••••••••

I was freezing as the night got darker. I used my hands to cover myself. I needed to go somewhere safer I just couldn't stay in here. I was slowly going downwards grabbing and holding tight every branch. As I continued going downwards the branch broke. No. No. No. I tried to grab another branch but I didn't reach for it. I felt I was in a dream where I will wake up from.

As I fell on the floor I felt pain on my whole body. My whole body ached that I couldn't move. No. No. No. I began feeling dizzy. My head hurt a lot and I began closing my eyes slowly in the dark. My vision turned black.

Was this a dream?.
