Do you know that feeling were you find peace with everything, even with yourself?
That moment which you are just looking at the sky and you breathe deeply relaxing every muscle of your body, most importantly your brain.
I'm sitting down at the roof garden with a cup of tea in my hand, is one of chamomile to be more specific.
I've been thinking about different things in the last few days since a lot has happened.
My flower shop opening was in three weeks now and I've been quite nervous about it. My gut tells me that this is meant for me, and I'm sure. Including, Domenico and Lily's fights but the other day I just found them kissing in the hallway.
I still don't know their relationship or their terms just for you to get me right.
Matteo had invited me to an important dinner with two businessmen with their respective wives. Oh, its tonight. He said it was just to talk more clearly about their deal in some project they were working on. I told Charlotte about it the other day that I went for the singing lessons with Mia, and she offered me one of her dresses.
Of course I declined her offer but she insisted, you know how Charlotte is.
I took another sip of my tea. I swallowed it and I felt how it warmed my throat slowly. I closed my eyes only letting myself to feel the breeze but a flashback came into my mind.
"Mommy, why can't we go more often outside the house? I'm bored being in here."
My mom walked towards me with a pink dress in her hand. The dress had a flower design in it with a little bit of glitter. It was my favorite dress to wear.
"Its for our safety honey. You know that daddy will get mad if we go out, he just doesn't want to lose us," she said pulling the dress over my head.
"Why doesn't daddy comes with us then? He won't get mad that way."
"Maybe another day."
"But you say the same thing every day. I want to go to somewhere else, like the beach. You said it was your favorite place to go, I want to see it," I said pouting.
"Someday you will see it, I don't know when but you will. I'll make sure of it," she said pulling me down of bed.
"Do you promise?," I said as she bend down looking at me.
"I promise."
When will that day come?
I opened my eyes already standing up while I still thought about my mom.
Mom where are you? Are you still alive?
•••••••••••••••••••
It was already six and I laid down in bed while I used my phone.
I've been downloading many apps on it like the ones I had in my old phone that I had left in my house.
I didn't use this phone much only for Music, Netflix and Messenger. Not much actually. I spent much of my time working, reading, singing lessons or in the roof garden.
I locked the phone while I turned around and stared at the closet. Gosh, why did I felt so nervous about this dinner?
I'm still not used in being out of the house this much even to talk to strangers. In my house there weren't kids to play neither I had a brother or a sister. I only talked with my toys which were my only friends I had to play with, they were the only ones I trusted with my life.
