The night we met

Chapter 47

I came home around eight with Matteo since he offered to pick me up tonight.

"Hey lovely birds," Lily said as she ate strawberries.

Lily was staying with us since she was almost going to give birth to Leo soon and she needed her mother beside her. Besides, she didn't want to be alone in Domenico's house.

"Hey, how have you been?," I asked.

"I can't with this bump anymore. Come on Leo! You need to come now!," she said as she stared at her bump.

I laughed but then I heard water falling.

SHIT.

We all looked in shock to each other not knowing what to say.

"Shit. Leo is really obedient," Matteo said.

"The baby is coming!," Lily yelled and I came forward but as I did I fell by the water.

"Shit," I murmured.

"Matteo, go and get the car now!," I yelled and he looked even confused unable to think. I almost laughed because this powerful man knew everything but when it came to babies, he blanked.

He went running as he called Domenico.

"Fuck! It hurts so much," Lily screamed breathing heavily.

I looked at her surprised because it was rare when she said a bad word but I guess I could use this as an excuse.

"Breathe with me deeply," I said and she did so. I grabbed her her arm as Fanny came running.

"Grab the bags, the baby is coming," I told her but she froze as she stares at the water in the floor.

"Hurry up now! Why is everyone so fucking slow!," she paused and breathed heavily.

"I'm sorry, why did I say that. I'm not like this. Come, give me a hug," she continued and I did so. I tried to hide my smile as she changed of mood every second.

We finally got into the car as Fanny and William walked behind us. William was the most shocked from all of us but he controlled himself, well he tried.

Domenico came in a matter of seconds looking like Matteo did. It was like he had seen a ghost.

"Why didn't you fucking hurry up, you bitch ass!," Lily said as she walked slowly but then started to cry.

"Babe am so sorry."

"Its fine. Come lets get you in the car," Domenico said as she grabbed her arm.

Fanny and William went with us as Lily and Domenico left first.

Tonight was Leo's birth.

They took Lily into a private room quickly since Domenico lost control asking them to hurry up.

In this type of situations most of the people can't be controlled so I don't judge him.

We waited in another room but I jumped as I heard Lily's screams as she tried to push I imagine.
