I slowly opened my eyes and saw the ceiling. Wait, Where was I?. I began moving trying to get out of bed but my head hurt as well as my body. Ouch!

Did the men captured me?. I started shaking and I looked around trying to find something so I could use as a weapon. Suddenly a brunette woman entered and looked at me as she slowly walked towards me. She looked around her mid thirties. She offered me a cup with tea which I declined.

"Where am I?," I said looking at her.

"In a humble house near the city," she said as she began smiling at me.

"Who are you?."

"Why did you climbed the tree?. I think that's the reason you were on the ground. I suppose you fell," she said with curiosity.

I stayed silent as I looked at her. She was wearing jeans and black sweater.

I took a deep breath trying to remember what happened last night. Flashbacks came into my mind and I closed my eyes.

"It doesn't matter anymore," I said looking at the floor.

"Was someone following you?," she said with a curious look.

I suddenly got worried that she might want me gone now because of that reason.

"Where are your parents," she said as she got closer to me.

"Dead," I said. I knew they were dead but I just felt it also. She stayed silent for a long time.

"You can stay in here as much time you need. I'm Sophia," she said.

"I am Ava....neda," I said nervously bitting my lip. I couldn't tell her my real name, it was too dangerous and I didn't knew her well.

"Well Avaneda, I need to go to work. You can grab anything you want. You need to rest."

I nodded. She stood up and began grabbing her things and left. I don't know this woman and I can't run away. Shit. I began going around the house to check everything. The house was small. The living room and the kitchen was in the same room but each of them had their own big space. There was a short staircase that I began running into. There were two bedrooms with a medium size T.V. I began walking and entered to her room. I looked everywhere just to get some information of her or a gun. Sometimes you need to find things for yourself, most of the time people lie about themselves. I knew it. But the house didn't had any source of evidence neither pictures. It's like no one is living in here. What the hell?.

I wanted to run but I was safer in here rather than other place.

I began walking all over the house to calm myself. Calm down Ava. Think. If you run away they may find you. I took a deep breath.

It was the afternoon so I decided to go and take a walk. I needed fresh air. I got outside and the cool breeze touched my face. I suddenly realize I was away from the city but not that far. I could still watch the buildings from here. It was an outskirts area.

I began walking through the road and I actually relaxed. Many things came into my mind seconds later. How did she find me?. I left the doubts behind as I watched a fence that was near me. I felt curious about it that I decided to climb. I began climbing the fence easily and jumped to the other side. As I walked slowly I opened my eyes in surprise. It was beautiful!

It was a huge green area without trees, only grass, but also flowers in certain areas. There was even a bridge on the middle. I began running towards it in a fast speed. As I got there, I breathed deeply and I was thankful for this amazing moment. Those small moments that you begin appreciating when you are living it are the most memorable. I stayed there for a long time laid down and watching the sky.

I returned back and Sophie wasn't at home yet. I prepared myself another cup of tea because I wasn't hungry at all.

I suddenly felt tired and drank all of the tea I made. I relaxed a little and I went again to bed. As I laid down my eyes felt heavy and I fell asleep easily.

I felt someone getting on the bed next to me. My eyes were still heavy until a hand covered my mouth. I opened my eyes and I looked in horror. The tall man was above me. Wait, please. I began crying.

"Shhhh, shhh, shhhh don't move Ava. I told you I was going to find you," he said.

No. No!

He uncovered my mouth and the two men who were also looking for me entered to the room. He began taking off my pants.

"Please! Don't touch me! No. No!" I began screaming.

This couldn't be happening.

No! No! No!

"Avaneda wake up!"

I opened my eyes. I woke up and my whole body was sweating. It was all a dream, it was all a dream.

"Avaneda, are you okay?" Sophie said with a worried look. I began crying. I felt it was real.

"I couldn't, they found me.....I," I said crying with agony

"Shhhh, shh. Calm down," Sophie said.

I laid my head on her chest as I continued crying.

Sophie started singing with her mouth closed a song to soothe me. I recognized the song. "Angel by the wings."

I eventually stopped crying. My mom used to sing that song when I couldn't sleep.

I fell asleep, but the nightmares wouldn't go away never again. I knew it. But I didn't want to close my eyes because now I felt fear on my dreams.

I felt it.
