As I walked through the streets I could feel the cold breeze in my face. I suddenly stopped in front of a huge mansion I could say. I continued walking, suddenly feeling a little bit nervous. Calm down Ava. I stood in front of the door and took a deep breath. I rang the doorbell and waited.

Seconds later a beautiful young woman opened the door. She looked like she had twenty four.

"Hi! Just in time, come in," she said with a smile on her face.

I entered and the house was beautiful like it was in the outside. I stared at every thing. I looked around and there was a huge living room with a big piano.

A man began coming downstairs with a smile in his face. He looked like he was twenty five. Well both of them looked very young. Suddenly they stood in front of me.

"So you must be Avaneda, am I right?," she said.

"Completely right," I said.

"I'm Charlotte and this is my husband Noah," she said with excitement.

"How old are you? You look too young," Noah said.

"Noah don't ask her that," Charlotte said as she felt embarrassed.

"Its fine. I'm seventeen but i'm turning eighteen next month."

"Oh shit, I was fucking right. Ha I told you she was 17, you owe me $5," Noah said laughing.

I was completely stunned watching them act like that between them. I started laughing.

"Ha he was right," she said laughing.
"Well before you got here we were talking about the payment and we decided that we will pay you $200 for both lessons for each week."

My eyes went huge. They had said by the phone that the payment was $80 each week. I wasn't expecting that amount right now. I wanted to accepted but it was too much.

"Um, thats a huge payment for the week. I'm okay with the $80, really," I said unsure.

"Don't worry. We just want the best for our baby girl Mia, you will love her," Charlotte said with a huge smile.

"Mia come here," Noah said.

A little and beautiful girl entered to the room with a pink dress. She had light blond hair with green eyes. I opened my eyes completely mesmerized at the girl. She had eight years old as both of them told me.

"Hi Avaneda, its a pleasure to meet you," Mia said with a soft smile and she came forward and hugged me.

"Its a pleasure to meet you too," I said returning her a smile and a hug.

"Well we need to leave, we are going out with a friend tonight. You can grab anything you need," Noah said.

I nodded and Charlotte came and gave me a hug which I returned back.

"Charlotte you're suffocating her," Noah said from behind.

"Shut up," she said smiling at him. She looked at me again and said,"Call me if you need anything."

"I will," I said. Then both of them left.

"So, Mia let's start then," I said as we moved to the living room. "Can I hear you sing? It will really help to hear if you can reach good high and low notes."

Mia started walking and stood up in the middle of the living room. She cleared her throat and began singing 'O mio babbino caro'

I opened my eyes with surprise. Mia had a beautiful voice. I was impressed when I heard her sing opera, it was music to my ears and a beautiful melody for my soul. She sang in Italian.

I felt goosebumps all over my skin as she continued singing. She didn't reach good the high notes but she was trying at least. She suddenly stopped.

"I'm sorry. I can't reach the high notes, Its so hard!," she said as she sat down on the floor.

"Mia. That its the best thing I've ever heard, really! And don't worry about that, that's why I'm here," I said as I sat with her.

She opened her eyes and looked at me with a big smile.

"I'll give you an advice. When you hear and sing music you need to feel it. I know that when you start singing you will get nervous with a huge crowd. But that's the point of it, express the emotion you feel when you sing it to the rest of the people. You need to sing it with feeling and when you are finishing pretend its the last breath you are taking."

She nodded and we both stood up. "Okay from the top again," I said.

We spend the whole night with the singing lessons and I taught her French songs that same night and I was very impressed by how she learned very fast. I was feeling happy again as I went home with Sophie and spend the night with Noah, Charlotte and Mia every day. When you have a job you need to love what you're doing, that's how you will achieve success and be happy the rest of your life. I know this job wasn't enough but it was for me.

It was enough.
