Thursday 20th December 1984;

The scarred man slowly sat up and groaned. He still had two days of running the Café until he finally got a day to himself. His eyes shifted to his bedside alarm clock, the hands pointing to the five and the twelve. 05:00 am. Remus sighed and lay his head back on the feather pillow, trying his hardest to fall back asleep. He was just staring to drift off when there was a wail from the spare bedroom. Looks like Harry's up. Remus sighed and swung his legs over the side of the bed, dragging a hand through his messy brown hair, making it look even more like a rat's nest. He got to his feet and stretched, his arms, legs and back feeling so much better than before. He yawned and sleepily walked toward the wailing child's room. When he got inside, he picked Harry up and held him to his chest.
"Hey, Harry... What's wrong?"
"C- cweepy man!" Remus froze. What creepy man?

Remus balanced Harry on his hip and walked toward the open window, looking outside into the cold, winter morning air.
"Harry, there's no one out he-" he stopped mid sentence. Standing just below the window dressed in all black, was Severus. Remus's heart jumped as his head retreated back inside and he closed the small window, bolting it shut.
"Holy crap..." To say he was shaken was an understatement, he knew that if he'd ignored Harry's cries any longer than he had, something bad could have happened. After much thought, he decided calling the police was out of the question and took Harry into his room, shushing him and eventually forgetting his own worries and drifting into a peaceful, dreamless slumber.

Remus's eyes slowly opened, automatically closing due to the bright light shining in his eyes. When they finally adjusted, he opened them and blinked rapidly and felt a small weight shuffle in his hold. He looked to it and saw none other than Harry Potter himself. Harry looked up at him with his big, green doe eyes and giggled, making his face seem to brighten up the whole room. Remus smiled and kissed his forehead and sat up, still holding a small Harry. He felt completely fine until he remembered the events of last night. Severus outside Harry's window and the expression his face had changed to the second he laid eyes on his scarred face. Remus sighed and stood up, lazily carrying the sleepy child down the carpeted staircase toward the kitchen downstairs. When they got there, he set Harry on a chair and pulled out a bowl, cereal, milk from the fridge and a spoon from a small drawer. He poured the cereal and milk in, giving it to Harry. The toddler giggled and started eating sloppily. Remus smiled as he sipped the steaming cup of tea he had made for himself. When they finished, Remus washed himself and Harry separately and dressed them both. Soon, Remus was balancing Harry on his hip and they where on their way to the small coffee shop. When they arrived, Mrs. Mcgonagall was chatting with two people, a young woman with pink dyed hair and a man with black curly hair.
"Tonks? Sirius?" The woman spun around and a face splitting grin grew across her tan face. Sirius just smiled and nodded a hello before going back to talking with Mrs. Mcgonagall.
"Remus! How are you? I missed you!" Remus smiled and hugged her back, chuckling at her inability to keep her thoughts to herself.
"I've been fine, Tonks. And I missed you too" he responded, smiling as she proceeded to play with Harry's hair and boop his tiny button nose, making the toddler giggle and latch onto her Yellow and black knitted scarf.
"Sorry, Tonks. Little Harry here has a thing for knitted scarves." she smiled and plucked Harry from Remus's side and balanced him on her own, giving him her scarf.
"I'll look after him while you work, Remmy. I'll be in the corner of the café if you need me or the little tyke." Harry had started babbling something in baby language and sucked on his tiny fist.

Mrs. Mcgonagall and Sirius approached the other three and Mrs. Mcgonagall smiled at Remus whilst Sirius just stood next to him, contemplating if putting a hand on the scarred man's hip was a good idea.
"I see Potter finally managed to get Evans to fall for him after all" she stated, making them all except Harry laugh. Remus suddenly blushed, he remembered they where standing outside his coffee shop.
"I'll go unlock the door." he coughed awkwardly, making the others chuckle. He twisted the key and opened the door, flicking on the bubble lights. The other three walked in, Harry still balancing on Tonk's hip. The two women went and sat in a corner booth, leaving Remus practically alone with Sirius behind the main counter. The black haired man pushed the taller back against the wall, placing a hand by his head.

"Remus, what's gotten you so shaken?" his grey eyes flashed with worry, anxiety and... Pain? No. Surely not.
"What are you talking about, Sirius? I'm fine." Remus tried pushing the shorter off but failed.
"No, Remus. Something has happened and I wanna know what it was so I can help the most beautiful person I've ever met." Remus blushed at the end of the sentence and sighed.
"Last night, I was falling asleep when I heard Harry crying. I went to check on him and, obviously asked what was wrong. He told me there was a 'Creepy man' outside his window. At first, I didn't believe him so I picked him up and walked over toward the window and saw the man you saw following me yesterday staring straight up at me from my driveway." Sirius stopped him by hugging him, pulling him close and burying his face in the taller man's chest. Remus smiled and gently stroked Sirius's frizzy locks.
"How do you get it so curly, Sirius?" the darker skinned man looked up and blew a peice of his own hair out of his face.
"About two dollops of frizz shampoo and conditioner and then about fourty curlers in each side." Remus was completely in awe. He'd never known someone who paid so much attention to their hair in his whole twenty-seven years of life.

They stared at each other, both men leant in, they could feel each other's breath on their faces, their heart beats racing and skipping beats as their lips brushed together.
"Up for a snog?" Sirius whispered, making Remus burst out laughing and complaining ruin the sensual moment.
"Way to go, frizzy!"

"Do not insult my hair when yours looks like a litteral fur ball"

Remus smiled and stood up, helping Sirius and pulled on his apron, sending Sirius to go sit down with the girls and Harry. Eventually, he finished creating his art and directed his speed toward the occupied table. He gave Mrs. Mcgonagall her tea with a large pastry shape floating on top and pastries, Tonks her usual white coffee with a small, white bunny and a larger white wolf next to it and strawberry tart and Sirius his black coffee and treacle tart.

Eventually, people came crowding into the Café for their morning coffee's and Remus had no time to talk to the others. When, finally it ended, Remus felt a weight on his back. He turned his head and saw Sirius holding an asleep Harry, leaning his head on Remus's back.
"Siri, what're you doing?" he asked, turning his body to hug the smaller male and small child.
"Wanted to say thanks for the small eiffel tower you put on my coffee." he mumbled against Remus's chest. The sandy haired man smiled widely.
"You're very welcome, Sirius."
