Remus looked up, upset.
"Yes. It's all true." he whispered, his face flushing an embarrassed pink. Sirius looked a mix of concerned, upset and confused.
"Why would you do that? It's disgusting that you needed to resort to prostitution." he mumbled putting a hand on Remus's shoulder. "Tell me, Remus" the taller sighed and placed the sobbing child into Sirius's arms.
"I don't have to explain anything I don't want to." he stated, stubbornly.
"I have a right not to." he heard a small sigh from behind him.
"Why can't you trust me, Remmy?" his voice was laced with hurt and pain. Remus didn't respond. He just walked toward the small hook behind the counter and hung up his apron, lowering his arms and sighing.
"Not even James or Lily know. I don't feel its appropriate to tell someone I recently met instead of them." he said, firmly. Sirius looked shocked. Remus glared. "I'm sorry, Your highness. I'm sorry that not everyone was born into a rich, noble family. I grew up poorer than your stuck up little mind could ever think." the scarred male turned around, his golden eyes shining with fury and sadness. "but you know the difference between our families, Black?! Mine actually loved me!" he breathed heavily, his heart pumping so hard he thought it would jump out of his chest. Then he realised what he had said. "Sirius... I..."
"Don't bother, Lupin! I already know what you ment, there's no point in explaining yourself." Sirius Black had snapped. Tears where pricking the corners of his steel grey eyes. They didn't stay long since the leather fabric of Sirius's jacket brushed them all away.

Remus reached for Sirius's shoulder, hoping the other man would forgive him even slightly.
"Don't touch me! I hate you! You say you're my friend but when I need you most, you insult me!" the man spat, glaring at Remus. The scarred man looked ashamed and took Harry from the other, frowning lightly.
"So, I guess this means goodbye." he whispered, hoping the other would disagree.
"I guess it does. Goodbye, you... You disgusting slut." he stared at Remus for a couple more seconds, before spinning on his heel and stomped his way out the door. Remus looked down at the small child on the table and sighed, large tears running down his face as he gasped for air. He ruffled up the sleeve of his jumper and wiped his eyes but try as he might, they just kept pouring down his scarred, broken face.
"What have I done" he whispered brokenly, to no one in particular. He looked around his dimly lit shop, wondering if he should run after the curly haired man. After a while, he decided Sirius would be too far away by now.

He slid down the side if the seat, his face soaked with the streams of tears that poured down his face. He pulled out his phone, realising that Lily was trying to call him. He shakily accepted, his tears splattering across the small, white screen.
"Hello?" he asked, trying to calm the stutter in his shaky voice but failing.
"Hi Remmy. How's it going with your new boyfriend, hmmm?" the strong but sweet voice made Remus melt. But then, the memories hit him like a ton of bricks.
"he...he left me alone in my shop." he could almost hear the smile drop from the ginger's face.
"What happened?" her voice was soft and caring.
"Severus payed me a visit..." he heard her sigh deeply. Remus inhaled and decided it was time to tell her the truth.
"Lily... I have a confession." he started, his heart in his throat.
"Go on..."
"In seventh year... I..." his voice cracked from the stress and pain. "I resolved... My problems by prostitution...." the line went silent. It hung in the air like fog on a winter night.
"Remus... You're telling me in seventh year... You where a prostitute?" He cleared his throat, clogging with saliva and oncoming tears.
"Yes..."
"We're coming home tomorrow. And trust me, when we do, we'll have a serious talk."
