Eddies POV
I woke up that next morning, still feeling absolute happiness with Richie Tozier being my boyfriend. I've never dated anyone before and I'm scared that I might do something wrong.
I got out of bed and I got ready for school. I went to the bathroom and I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
When I was finished, I went to get dressed. I put on an oversized pastel
Pink sweatshirt with black leggings and white sneakers and I put on a black jacket.
  I went downstairs and saw Bill eating the last bit of toast he made.
"Morning Eddie" he said to me
"Morning"
  I sat down at the table waiting to go. I grabbed a banana and just went on my
Phone until Bill was ready to go.
  When we were both ready, Bill drove us to school, picking up Stan on the way. We got to school and we waited outside of our first class like we do everyday. I leaned my head against the wall and in the corner of my eye I saw the familiar head of raven curls that I love to see everyday. I smiled at Richie and he smiled back. I walked over to him and Richie pulled me into his arms and hugged me.
"Hi" he said in my ear
"Hi" I said while smiling wide
He pulled back to look at me and I felt him loosely lace our hands together.
"How's everything with you?" He asked me
"Everything's great, what about you?" I asked him
"Um, you know the usual, but I haven't seen my dad since last night so I don't know where he is but I don't really care" he told me
I put my hand on his cheek and I felt him lean into my touch.
"I'm sorry Rich, I wish there was something I could do"
"It's fine Eds. I've been dealing with this for years" he said smiling at me sadly
I stood on my toes and I gently kissed him.
"You shouldn't have too" I told him
"I'll be fine baby I promise"
  My cheeks heated up at the nickname.
"I just, I don't-" I sighed I couldn't even finish my sentence.
  I just wrapped my arms around him and buried my face in his chest.
"I'll be fine Eds, I promise" he told
me again
  The bell rang, signaling class was about to start. I felt Richie kiss the top of my head and I backed up to look up at him.
"I'll see you later ok?" He leaned down and kissed me again before waking to his class.
I turned around to walk back to the class and I saw Bill and Stan looking at me. Oh shit, I forgot to tell them Richie and I were together.
"When did that happen?" Bill asked me
"Uh, last night" I answered while walking into the room and sitting in my seat.
"What do you mean last night?" Bill asked me
"I'll tell you everything later ok?" I told him giving my attention to the teacher up front.
  It was now lunch time and I was sitting at the table with Stan, Bill and Ben. I told them about everything that happened last night.
"Well I'm happy for you Eddie" Ben told me
"Thanks"
"Is he gonna treat you right?" Stan asked me. He's always protective over me, especially since now I'm basically Bills little brother.
"Yes, he's amazing, you just need to get to know him" I told them
"I don't wanna get to know him" Stan said
"Be nice" Bill told him
"Stan give him a chance please" I told him
He sighed heavily "Fine, whatever"
  Bill wrapper an arm around Stan and he put Stans head on his shoulder. Just then I saw Bev run into the lunchroom looking around frantically until her eyes landed on us. She ran over to our table.
"Eddie, Richie needs you, come on now!" She yelled
  I was confused but I stood up and grabbed my bag and I ran after her. She led me to behind the school where I saw Richie with his head in his hands I could see he was shaking.
"Richie? Baby, look at me what happened?" I said trying to take his hands away from his face
He kept hyperventilating, his breath getting faster.
"Richie whats wrong?" Eddie asked me
"M-my m-my" he stammered out
"Chee, baby I need you to breath" I said to him "Come in breath with me" I said
"In. Out" I guided him through the breaths and I saw him calm down about
"Now, can you tell me what happened?" I asked him softly
"M-my mom j-just c-called me um, s-said my dad g-got in an accident and th-that she was still his emergency contact and that I n-needed to g-go to the hospital a-and make sure he's ok" he stammered out
"Oh my god Rich, I'm so sorry" I told him
"Can one of you drive me to the hospital please?" He asked me
"I can ask Bill" I told him
"O-ok"
I kissed his head and I went to get Bill. When I got back, Stan and Ben decided they wanted to come with and we all piled into Bills car and we drove to the hospital.
