I happen to be a huge procrastinator. Huge to the point where I start homework at midnight sometimes and finish at 5am. Here are some methods I've been using to get myself back on track.
1) Set a timer when you get home from school for 30 minutes. That's your time to eat a snack, check your phone, go through social media, etc, until you start homework.
2) Exercising can actually help you be more productive! If you have the time, go for a mile run, take a shower as soon as you get back from the run, and start your homework. You'll be focused and ready to work!
3) Do work before it's due! If you have a free weekend ahead of you and you know you'll have time to finish a project or study for a test that week, do it!
4) Take breaks! If you absolutely cannot go the entire length of your homework without checking your phone, do each subject at a time and then give yourself a 5 minute break in between to text friends.
5) Take a study hall instead of a lunch during school. It's quieter and there's less people so you can pop in some earbuds, eat some lunch, and work.
Hope this helps! Comment your ideas for procrastination so I can try them!
