Chapter 17: Raven

*Luna's POV*

I finally walked out of my cave when I got the news that Aqua couldn't come. I looked over to the Pup's den and felt a strong urge to go talk to Shadow. I gave in and started walking over, despite everyone trying to stop me. I ducked into the den and see Shadow look up at me in fear.

"Why did you kill them?" I said calmly. I tried my best to keep control but one wrong work from him and I will snap his neck like a twig.

"Lunar made a plan for if she died. She said if she dies, kill Shinrin and Kaze. She didn't explain why but I know why." I shook my head, trying to keep control. I walked out of the den. I look up at the willow trees and I see a dark wolf lingering on one of the lowest branches. I looked closer and saw it was my mother. I looked under her and see Raven and Hotaru talking. I looked back up quickly and I see her getting ready to pounce.

"No!" I ran to her at the fastest speed I have ever ran. I pushed Raven and Hotaru in time to feel jaws clamp down hard on my neck.

*Alaska's POV*

I ran out into the clearing when I heard Luna shout. I came out to see Luna's mother ran out of camp, followed by Warrior's. I also saw Luna, bleeding out on the ground. She's gasping for air. I ran as fast as I could to her side. Mia was there but she knew she couldn't do anything. I got there in time to hear Luna mumble. I heard her mumble 'Raven'. I heard her gasp and the light faded from her eyes. At that moment, My breath caught in my throat, everything went numb and then everything went black.

*Mia's POV*

"Hotaru, carry Alaska over to the Medicine den, Mark, make sure no one comes into the cave, Sakura, make sure everyone stays calm," I ordered everyone, even though I was panicking myself. I look over at Raven and see her eyes go wide as she looked down at Luna's body. She looks at me and I see her eyes glowing, like how Luna's did. I heard her scream a high-pitched scream. She ran out of the camp with her nose to the ground. I am guessing she is sniffing a trail.

*Raven's POV*

I could see where I was going and I am running the fastest I have ever ran before, I am running faster than the fastest wolf in our Pack. I just ran, I will keep running until I catch my mom's killer. I pass by the Warrior's as they sat down, panting. I did not stop and I will not stop, even if my lungs start hurting. I see a black wolf with a thing hanging around her neck while sitting in a tree catching her breath. I let out the deepest growl that I have ever heard. She snapped her head to look at me and was getting ready to jump higher.

I did not let that happen. I jumped up and pushed her off the branch. She fell down hard on the ground and looks up at me with her glowing, werewolf eyes. I see her grow bigger but she was not as big as me. I pounced on her again before she could get up. I sunk my claws into her chest and pushed her into the ground. I snarled and see a drop of my spit fell on her. She used one of her paws to try to scratch me but I bit it hard until I heard a snap. I let out a high pitched yelp and pulled her paw away.

I pulled my head back and jerked it forward and bit her neck and snapped it. I let go and saw her lifeless body lying on the ground. I snapped my head to look behind me and see the Warrior's staring at me. All, one by one, put one of their paws forward and bowed their heads down. My vision slowly faded to black as I was going blind again.

I heard heavy footsteps running towards me and I could smell Hotaru coming closer. He stopped in front of me and covered my face in licks. I pressed my body next to him and he guided me through the forest towards camp. He guided me over to the Alpha's den since I'm the new Female Alpha and he is the new Male Alpha.
