Chapter 2: A New Member?

New Character Description and Backstory

Violet- Pure black wolf mix with fox with violet eyes-Female Beta

Violet- Violet was captured from the wild and kept in an abandoned house. She was constantly getting challenged for food but after that, they sent her to dog fights. She only got in one dog fight before she escaped and ran to the nearest forest and met Luna She isn't afraid of much.

*Luna's POV*

I wake up to the smell of food. I raised my head and took a deep breath. My stomach growled at the smell. I looked down to see a fat bunny, freshly killed. I lowered my head to take a bite. I wolfed down the rabbit, happy to have fresh food. I licked my lips and paws. I stood up and stretched, my stomach happy to have something in it.

I walk out of my den and see all the wolves walking around. I look up to see the sun setting. I go down to the clearing to get ready for the howl. The howl to tell my siblings to run away and where we will get four new Packs members and hopefully my father's Pack will fall since a wolf Pack can't have lower than six members. I remembered back to how they used me for everything. Jack volunteering to be Omega surprised me because I remembered back to the days when I was Omega.

How much the Pack tore me down, mentally and physically. Hopefully this Pack is nicer and won't do the same to Jack. I walk up to the willow tree and went under it and I sat down. This reminds me of what I did in my old Pack except I won't get attacked. I look upon my Pack, deep down I was still scared someone will come up to me and attack.

I look up to the sky and see the color blue go into pink, orange and light red. I got up and went back to the announcement rock. I gave a howl telling everyone to come to the clearing. I watch as the wolves sit with their assigned groups.

"I called you all to tell the Hunter's it is time to hunt. We will eat after we howl and how Pack's eat is simple if your willing to follow orders. The Alpha has to eat first, then the Beta, then the Delta, then the Medicine Fox, then the Highest Warrior, then all the Warriors will grab their pick, then the Highest Hunter, then the Hunters will grab their picks, then the pups who don't have Pack positions yet, then the Omega," I explained, "For the sake of the Omega, please leave enough for the Omega and the lower positions of the Pack or I will go out hunting for them."

I see as the Pack looked at Jack with sympathy.

"I know we have a big Pack and this is the biggest Pack I've been in but we need to look after each other. We will all be protecting this Pack so everyone will need their strength. I will also train with all of you so we can get more exercise and get more strength. Now Hunter's go out and hunt and everyone else, lets go to the fighting pit and train," I finished.

I jump down from the small peak and started to head over the the fighting pit. I was stopped by a small yip from behind me. I turn around and see Jack with his head down.

"Can you please make sure Mark will be ok?" Jack asked.

I nodded my head and he smiled. We both walked together to the fighting pit and see everyone but the Hunters waiting for instructions.

"So, initially the Omega and the Medicine Fox aren't supposed to fight but I want to be fair and have them fight, but Sakura I don't want you to fight because you have a muscle mass of a bison," I instructed, "I will start at the top of the list and go to the bottom."

*Violet's POV*

Running through the forest takes a lot of energy if you have been running from a hunter. So if anyone was in my place they would have ran and then fainted, faking death. I was lucky and unlucky because well I landed in Pack Territory, but I also had to run again and land of course in another Pack Territory. It was fine, it was great. There were wolves there so I back away from the clearing and stayed in the shadows. I looked up into the trees I saw an unlucky bird was in a tree.

Hey you want to talk about doing something stupid? How about stepping out in the open because I wanted a Pack. I was thinking about it and believe it or not at this point, I had no other way to get a Pack. So I waited for them to all go to sleep, stepped out in the open and well just sit there, I didn't think of a plan. So what happened next? Well I fell asleep accidentally and so the night ends and when I wake up, I don't know.

*Luna's POV*

After a long day of fighting, I told everyone I was almost time for the midnight howl. Everyone who was watching the fight, stood up a stretched. The ones who were fighting bowed their heads as a form of a truce.

I lead my Pack over to the center of the clearing. But what I didn't expect was to see is a black fox sleeping in the center. The Warriors started to get in front of the Pack but I stopped them with a quiet bark.

I started to walk towards the fox even though most of my Pack was trying to stop me. When I reached the fox, I put my snout up to her and started to shake her awake. She opens her eyes to reveal violet eyes.

*Violet's/Luna's POV*

Violet- As I wake up, I realize this was a stupid idea for a fox to go in the middle of a Pack and fall asleep accidentally. So act normal no really possible so I just sat up and my stomach growls.

Luna- At first I didn't really know what to think. With my eyes, I ordered Jack to go get some food. He nods his head and he runs over to the prey pile. The fox looks over in his direction with some fear in her eyes. Jack runs back over with the last plump bunny in his mouth. He passes it over to her.

Violet- I think it is rude to eat in front of a whole Pack so I just keep that very close.

"Thanks," I said as I looked around

I realized that I could be killed easily by this Pack but they seemed peaceful.

Luna- I looked up and saw that the moon was almost in the middle of the sky. I smiled because its been a while since I saw Scar, Frost, Alpine, and Aiyana. But I don't know if Kaze and Shinrin were going to come though.

"Do you want to join our Pack," I asked the fox.

"Sure, my name is Violet," she said.

"My name is Luna, I'm the Alpha of this Pack, do you want to be the Beta because we need one in this Pack," I asked.

"...Sure" Violet said.

I turned to my Pack.

"Ok everyone it's time to do the howl," I announced.

I began the howl and one by one the others joined and at the back of my head, I know my old Pack can hear.
