*Luna's POV*

I waited at the top of the Alpha's perch for everyone gathered around.

"As you know everyone, I will die someday. Whether it be from old age or sacrificing my life for all of you." I announced, "This meeting is to decide who will be the next Alpha when I die. Alaska wouldn't be the Alpha anymore because he would be forced to be an Elder, the first Elder of out Pack. The next Alpha has to be one of my pups, out of tradition for all Packs in the world. I would have to see how my pups would be like as an Alpha and they would have to fight till submission. I wish we didn't have to do the fight but it is a tradition that has been passed down since the first wolf Pack."

All my pups are sitting in the front of the crowd, looking at each other.

"I'm sorry Raven but you have to participate as well since you are in my first litter. Yoru and Shizen can't participate because they aren't blood. I know stupid rule but it is still a rule. Now if all my pups could come up to my den, that would be great. If you don't come up to my cave, I will have Sakura pick you up and force you into my cave."

I see all my pups slowly come up to my cave reluctantly. I stop all of them when they reached the top and tapped Raven, telling her that she comes in first.

"What would you do if you had the position of Alpha?" I asked her off the bat.

"Could you clarify more?" Raven asked.

"What would you do if someone is being a bully in the Pack?" She thought about it for a moment.

"I would give them one chance to correct their ways, if they didn't I would kick them out of my camp," she said with ease. I nodded.

"Would you put the Pack above yourself?"

"Yes." She said without a moment of thought. Raven is starting to sound like me... I wonder which one of my pups has the werewolf trait.

"What if you had one of your Hunter's or Warrior's say that there was an outsider wolf or fox in our territory? What would you do with the outsider?" The questions were starting to get harder to think of.

"I would offer them a chance to join my Pack, if they wanted to fight then I would try to reason with them to alliance with us or just walk out of our territory." The questions that were hard for me to think of and easy for her to answer. I leaned towards her.

"If you keep it between you and me, I think you have a chance to become the next Alpha," I whispered. I see her smile. She stood up and walked out of the cave. I waited for Artemis to walk in. I see her walk sassy into my cave. I tried my best to not roll my eyes. She is acting like she is going to win.

"What would you do if you had the position of Alpha?" I asked, I decided to use the same question as I used on Raven.

"I would make sure the strongest would survive and the weakest would become Hunter's," she said like it was the easiest and the correct answer. It was not the answer I wanted.

"What would you do if someone was being a bully in the Pack?"

"I would see if the wolf deserves to be bullied." She was starting to sound like my father. I also noticed how she said "wolf" instead of animals.

"What if you had one of your Hunter's or Warrior's say that there was an outsider wolf or fox in our territory? What would you do with the outsider?"

"I would fight them or scare them out of my territory."

"Would you put the Pack above yourself?" Artemis laughed snarkily.

"No, why would I do that?" I frowned a bit and signaled for her to get the next wolf. She smiled and my heart dropped. She reminds me a lot of my dad, just from looks and how she acts.
