Jekyll/Hyde X Reader

Tears

Hyde's POV

Y/N and I walk back to Jekyll/my house and I open the door, then look around hoping no servant will see the blood all over me. When the coast is clear, we both walk through the house to the back where the laboratory is and we both go inside. Y/N looks around, but then we both hear a whimper, and turn to the mirror. There's Jekyll, still crying with his back to us, he doesn't know she's here yet.

"Umm..." Is all I manage to say.

"Go.. away EDWARD HYDE!" Jekyll has his eyes shut tight but he turns around to yell at me with tears still streaming down his face. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE FOOLISH GAMES AND IT'S TIME YOU DIED" His voice cracked a little, but we both just stand there in shock.

Jekyll finally opens his eyes and when he does he looks frightened to see Y/N here, then he looks at me. "YOU BROUGHT HER HERE YOU IDIOT?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Jekyll hesitates, but then he starts to take over. I feel the pain, but I also feel numb. All I can do is fall over and let the pain consume me. As Jekyll switches, Y/N looks fairly scared at the sight, but also goes to Jekyll kindly.

Jekyll's POV

Finally! Hyde is back in the mirror before anything bad could happen. "Y/N I'm so so so so so sorry! What has he done to you? Has he hurt you? I'm sorry about what you just saw-"

"Jekyll it's okay..." she interrupts me. "I only ask to know what's going on.. I willingly followed him here."

"Honestly?" I ask, she nods in return. I try to think of why she would so willingly follow Hyde here, then I notice her arm and pull it forward to look at it. "Your arm..." then I look at Hyde in the mirror.

He has almost this frightened look on his face, and a single hand covering his neck, as if he's about to be sent to the gallows and he's afraid to lose his head.

"Did you do this to her?" I ask harshly. "Did you do this and bring her here against her will Edward?!" I only use his first name when I'm really angry with him.

"Jekyll-" Y/N tries to say but I tell her to be quiet and I turn back to Hyde, who has his head down.

"Are you mad Edward?! Have you gone mad?! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS TORTURE AND SUFFERING YOU GIVE PEOPLE. YOU'VE HURT TOO MANY IN TOO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS AND NOW YOU'VE HURT Y/N! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH EDWARD! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME EDWARD HYDE?!-"

"JEKYLL PLEASE" Hyde looks up at us both, but.. he has tears in his eyes.. Hyde is crying.. I've never seen him cry before, but he's not done. "I-I KNOW WHAT I'VE D-DONE WAS WRONG BUT I-I DIDN'T HURT Y/N, P-PLEASE HENRY I BEG YOU S-STOP-...." Edward falls to his knees, clenching his chest, letting tears fall down his face rapidly. "S-Stop yelling at m-me.. you've g-gone on too l-long and I c-can't take this p-pain any l-longer...." Edward cries hard, and I... I can't help but feel bad for him..

Y/N and I both kneel next to the mirror. Edward continues to cry for at least 20 minutes, letting all of his emotions out. After about 22 minutes he starts to calm down and look at us now. "I-I'm s-sorry... that was p-pathetic of m-me..." He says.

"Shhh. It's okay Hyde... just calm down and get your thoughts together, then we can talk." I say. Hyde takes another few minutes, then he calms down and nods to me to start talking. So I turn to Y/N. "So, I know you have question."

"I have so many. But to start, I'm going to say that Hyde didn't hurt me. A drunk from the pub did. Hyde.. actually protected me, so I followed him to learn more of what was happening. But while we talk, can you help me bandage my neck? It's somewhat bleeding very quickly and I'm getting dizzy." She says, almost as if this happens every day, her calmness might be part of the bleeding though.

"Of course!" I reply and quickly grab bandages, I have her talk while I clean the wounds on her and bandage them.

"So my first question. What happened? Is Hyde why you were afraid of me coming over?"

"Well... yes.." I say, then I take about 10 minutes to explain to her what I had always dreamed, then how I made the formula, then she knows I tested it on myself. I told her that Hyde is the result of the experiment but he was very evil and I feared he would hurt her. She takes in every piece of information carefully.

"So if I have this right. Hyde is a madman and will willingly kill whoever. But.. you didn't kill me." She turns to Hyde as she mentions that last part. "Why?"

A light blush covers Hyde's wet cheeks and he looks down. "I... I may.. kind of.. like you.. a little.." Hyde kind of mumbles, but it's understandable. 

"Awww really?" Y/N says in response.

"He likes you too!!!" Hyde points to me and I chuckle a little.

"Thanks for throwing me under the carriage." I respond with a bit of a blush on my face as well, along with a small smile.

"Heh. Well I guess this isn't too weird, you both are the same person, but with two different personalities." Y/N says in return and starts to blush as well!

"Gah!" Hyde suddenly says. "Y-Y/N. I think what you called a tingle is back."

"But I didn't give you any of my elixir. Hmhm, you must really like me to be tingling on your own."

Y/N and I laugh for a moment, then Hyde lets out a small chuckle while we laugh.
