3rd person POV
Many come up in either groups, or by themselves to congratulate the new couple. It's quite exciting for the two. All their friends were able to make it as well. After all the congratulations, some people who were helping announce that dinner is ready, and guests go in to get some food.
After everyone is seated, Edward stands and walks to the center of everyone.
"Excuse me, can I have your attention?" Edward asks. Everyone quiets and looks to him. "Thank you. Now we have a few friends who volunteered to give speeches for us, but I'd like to start with one." Edward now looks to Y/N. "Y/N, I'm so happy that we found each other. I know I wasn't the best man before, but ever since we found each other I've felt a different feeling. I believe it's the feeling of love and kindness for others, and I'm so happy you've shown me that." Edward smiles at Y/N before letting another come up. Once Edward sits, the next one comes up and speaks about some memories they've had, and told some jokes as well. Most people were friends of Y/N and Jekyll, but Edward had a few.
After all the speeches were finished, they continued the dinner for some time. Then the dance started. Y/N and Edward were the first, then others joined them. Soon, most of the guests were dancing with one another or their own partners. After some time, Y/N and Edward stand off to the side for a moment. Jekyll comes up to them.
"Fine wedding this is." Jekyll says.
"Thanks brother." Edward replies. "Have you found anyone to dance with yet?"
"No I haven't, but I didn't exactly intend to dance either."
"What? You've got to! It can be fun, and you could get to know someone!" Y/N exclaims.
"Ah, perhaps another time."
"No, you'll find someone tonight." Edward looks around for a moment. Then a man that Jekyll had not yet met walks up to Y/N.
"You both have put together a fine party!" The man says.
"Thank you sir." Y/N replies. She then looks to Jekyll. "Have you met this man Henry?" She asks. Jekyll shakes his head for a moment, then listens to hear the name. "Oh, well this is Sir Danvers Carew. A fine gentlemen. And Sir Danvers, this is Dr. Henry Jekyll. A brilliant scientist and friend of mine, also the step-brother of Edward."
"I see, well it is a pleasure to meet you Dr. Jekyll!" Sir Danvers says with such bliss in his voice.
Jekyll smiles and replies, "The pleasure is all mine."
A young woman then walks up to the both of them. "Father, I see you finally found the new couple."
Sir Danvers nods. Jekyll nearly misses himself staring at this young woman. She's very pretty, and seems so kind.
"Oh, I should introduce you." Sir Danvers says. "Emma, this is Dr. Henry Jekyll, Dr. Jekyll, this is my daughter, Emma."
"It's a pleasure the meet you Ms. Carew." Jekyll replies, then takes up Emma's hand and kisses the top of it. He feels himself blush a little, but brushes it off and continues to hold Emma's hand for a moment, a new song begins and Jekyll looks to Emma. "Ms. Carew, may I have this dance?" Jekyll asks with most sincerity.
Emma gives a small but noticeable smile, along with a light blush, and she nods her head. Jekyll then leads her to the floor and begins to dance with her.
The dance leads on for a good 30 minutes at least. Finally, Mr. Carew comes to them after a dance is over and says that it's best that they get home. Emma nods and thanks Jekyll for the dances, he replies with it was his pleasure and joy as well. Mr. Carew and Emma leave for the night, as other guests begin to leave too.
Jekyll, Edward, and Y/N all walk to Jekyll's mansion to sleep there for the night, then the next day, they would work on getting everything or most everything of Edward's to Y/N's house.
Jekyll went to sleep that night thinking about Emma, and if they may meet again.
