Jekyll/Hyde X Reader

Dr. Lanyon comes in

Hyde's POV

Y/N hands me a few chemicals and explains what they do. Then she puts a flask in front of both of us. "Now, mix these two together." She points to two chemicals in my hands, and I mix them in the flask, then she cuts up a little bit of a plant and puts it in as we watch it disintegrate. She adds a few more chemicals, then hands me a can. "Add only a pinch of salt. Not too much now."

I listen to what she says and I take a tiny pinch of salt and add it. The experiment fumes a little, then changes to a light blue color.

"Perfect!" Y/N takes it and turns to Robert. "Now, this should help with the aches and your sore throat."

Robert, looked at it for a moment. Then drank the elixir. "Thank you." He says.

Suddenly someone comes into the room, I don't recognize this man. "F-Father.." Robert mutters and I realize this must be Mr. Lanyon.

"What's happening? I heard Y/N was here but these extra voices made me curious. Who invited Jekyll and this other individual?" Mr. Lanyon asks, he sounds sort of irritated.

Y/N stands and walk a few feet to him. "Forgive me sir, I was helping Dr. Jekyll after an incident and Edward Hyde is his, step-brother. So I brought them when I came over to keep an eye on them." She answers. Lanyon looks at us for a moment.

"Dr. Lanyon.." Henry says. "I know that you and I have had our differences. But I really do apologize for our arguments. Our differences are silly and if I can't even remember half of them then how important are they really?"

Dr. Lanyon looks like he's thinking, as if he doesn't know if he should accept the apology or not.

"Please, as soon as dear Robert is well then both of you should come to dinner at my house. I'd be glad to have you over."

"Do you think you can win me over with having me over for dinner?"

"No sir. I believe I can give you the respect we both had for each other. We could have one of our conversations about the days back then when Robert and I were still in college. I'd like to rebuild our friendship." Henry finishes, the way he's standing looks tall, strong, mature, but his face shows a kindness and sympathy.

"Perhaps we can come over once and see how you plan on rebuilding the bonds between us."

Henry nods his head once in thanks, then looks back to Robert and returns to him. Dr. Lanyon leaves with Joseph, then returns with some chairs. He has myself, Henry, himself, and Y/N sit next to the bed, and Y/N helps Robert sit up then sits in her chair. After a moment, Robert asks, "So how did you and Y/N meet Jekyll? And when?"

"From what Y/N said, we met not long after she started helping you. She had come out of the Red Rat while I was passing by and we bumped into each other. She had bumped her head on the bottom of a lamp pole and I helped her, we soon became friends, helping each other and doing experiments." Henry replies with a smile on his face.

"That's interesting."

"Y/N, how are your studies going? And that other scientist you were with?"

"He went on a trip that I could not attend. But my studies are well. I have the tests next week, if I pass then that will be my classes for college, done."

"That's wonderful! You'll be professional in what you do. What were the classes you took again?"

"I took medical, sciences, chemistry, and a few others that I can't remember at the moment. I've had to study for so much."

"I can understand that. Did Jekyll tell you that he took many majors as well?"

"He didn't" Y/N looks at Jekyll curiously.

"Heh, no more than you I bet. I took the same ones you mentioned, but I always had my work done ahead of time, so I took a few others." Henry replies.

"That's incredible! How'd you get them done so fast?" Y/N asks.

"Well, I had Robert. Robert and I shared a few majors so we would quiz each other late at night, helping us both learn faster"

Y/N smiles widely. "Lucky!!! I just had myself!"

"I can help you before your quiz if you'd like."

"I'd love that!"

I smile at Y/N's excitement. There's something about when she's happy or excited that makes her cute. I can't seem to take my eyes off of her. The way she smiles and her eyes light up. I like her personality and her fascinations, and just... her. I like her in general.. She hasn't seen too much except that one night I was blushing. But I don't know if it's something I'm okay to pursue..
