Jekyll/Hyde X Reader

Adoption

~~~I'm sorry this has become so long, if you know my brain though then you'd understand that I like to make things happen accordingly to time. It'll be over soon XD~~~

3rd person POV

The couple, along with Jekyll and Emma help take the boy to their home. He seems very surprised at the size of the house, then even more surprised at the size of his room. Y/N and Edward smile at the sight of the happy child, and when he's done  staring at the room, they take him to meet the servants (or whatever you want to call them). John seems to like all of them, and Y/N and Edward are happy he does. It's not easy to help a kid that was in his situation and know they'll be okay immediately after their safe. 

After dinner that night, the three went to bed.

Y/N was woken the next morning to Christopher asking Edward about breakfast. The two look at her.

"Oh, forgive me Miss. I was asking Mr. Hyde what you might like for breakfast, but seen as you're awake I may as well ask you. What would you enjoy?"

"It's quite alright, and I believe I would fancy some eggs and toast."

"Alright." Christopher bows his head respectfully, then leaves. Y/N looks to Edward and he smiles. Y/N smiles back and lies back down with him.

"How did you sleep my love?" Edward pulls Y/N close and snuggles his head into her neck. She giggles a little and holds Edward close as well.

"I slept well darling. What about you?"

"I slept well."

Y/N nods, then soon stands and gets dressed, Edward following close behind. The couple goes to see little John and find him in his room reading a book. He looks up to them and smiles a little. The couple goes in and asks him how he slept, he replies with he slept well, then soon Christopher comes in and tells them it's time for breakfast. The three go down and sit at the table to eat. Afterwards, John takes the plates with Edward to the kitchen.

This continues to happen for a couple weeks. John either educates himself or finds work around the house to do. He's seen doing the dishes, doing yard work, cleaning something. John has been told by Edward, Y/N and even the servants that the servants are the ones who are supposed to do that and he doesn't need to worry about it. Though, he's seen doing it anyway. 

One day, there's a knock on the door, and Christopher answers it. Jekyll walks in with Emma, Y/N and Edward meet them at the door.

"Hello brother! It feels as though it's been a month!"

"Yes, well it's only been a few weeks. Christmas as well is also in a few days." Jekyll replies.

"Right, we were wondering what to do with that."

"Why don't you come over to our place for a Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner? My servants would be delighted to have you over! And Poole has missed talking to you."

"I believe that would be fun." Y/N smiles, then John walks into the room. "John, for Christmas Eve and Christmas we'll be going to Jekyll's house for dinner."

"Mr. Jekyll's?! That sounds fun!" John has such a light in his voice. Edward laughs a little.

"Alright, and for really exciting news." Emma says.

Everyone (other than Emma and Jekyll) in the room look at the two, curiosity taking over and they want to know. Emma kind of nudges Jekyll a little, giving him a sign that he should tell, in which he does.

"Emma and I are getting married!" Jekyll exclaims. Y/N and Edward are both very happy for them and give them both a hug and congratulations. John gives his congratulations as well. After a few minutes, Y/N, Edward, Jekyll and Emma go to the side where John couldn't hear. 

"We've been thinking too. John has been with us for at least two weeks. He's been very helpful and he's a very kind kid. We wanted your opinion because.." Y/N starts.

"We think we want to adopt him Henry. And would like to make you his godfather, and since you're getting married then you'd be his godmother Emma." Edward finishes.

"That is a good and exciting thing! I fully support you and think you should. Like you said, he's a good kid, and he deserves better than what you found him as." Jekyll says.

The two nod, then go back to John.

"I must say again, high congratulations on your engagement." John says. Y/N and Edward walk to him and kneel in front of him.

"Sweetie, we want to tell you something that we are excited for as well." Y/N starts. Edward takes over from there. "John. We've loved having you here and wondered if you'd want to stay. Forever. We can adopt you and you can live with us as our kid, and Henry and Emma would be your godparents."

John suddenly looks very excited, he hugs both of them. Soon enough, the papers are made or signed to make John their legal son. 

Jekyll and Emma both get married in the spring. They all loved each other and spent much time together. John and their family often times spending that time with the Jekyll's. Everything had turned out all right for the Jekyll's and Hyde's.

~~~Alright that was my first Jekyll and Hyde story!!! I'm sorry it's so long but I had fun writing it!

I already had a few suggestions, but if you have any more then by all means suggest them!
