Cold as You

Chapter 4

(Note: It's just a short update and I didn't get to proof read)

Sehun wanted to get to know her more but he is reluctant to ask,
partly because he felt like he is more like an intruder than a friend
(which is true by the way) and the other half is that
he is afraid that she will ask back things he can't answer.

"So what do you do Leo?" the girl decided to break the silence.

It was the dumbest ice breaker if you ask her, and she doesn't care as long as the man in front of her would say something,
not that things are getting awkward but because it was unusual for her to be this quiet,
though it would be hypocritical to deny the fact that she enjoyed the stealing of glances and flirtatious smiles they exchanged,
but well,
get to know the man, to get the man.

" I'm uh, You see I uhmm I'm not that well, uh I don't have that professional type of job so Miss, I presume you might get disappointed" 

'that's odd' Lisa thought to herself.

Looking at the fine bits of Leo's appearance
you might think he's successful in a field somehow,
in the girl's imagination he could pass as a doctor,
a hot doctor if you ask her that any girl would want to fake illness just to see him.

"I asked because I am interested with you not your work sir, besides I'm well off enough" 

The broad shouldered man got amused by the girl's comment
and when he think she could not get more attractive than what he sees,
she gave her a sweet suggestive smile 

'You're Playing with fire right now miss' he kept to himself.

"Is that supposed to mean you want to get involve with me? because woman It seems that I am starting to like you" Why he said that is a wonder,
he didn't purposely resort to flirting, and maybe he said it out of reflex?
It is a lame reasoning to hear even for him.

" Well in that case I might consider " she replied teasingly. 

'Is it possible to want to kiss someone you've just met?' that's what is circling into Sehun's  mind. 

Lisa isn't that naive to not notice what's going on,
the way his eyes darted from her eyes to her lips,
and the sudden tension in the air, maybe they had the same Idea for she herself is aware of her own actions, biting her own lips,
intentionally.

'This is the time where I lean in right?' the fine man hesitated,
'nope, too soon'
It's surprising how he can think straight at that certain situation .

"okay we should cut it out Lisa" the man chuckled as he dive on the coffee he made himself.

Lisa just looked away masking her own disappointment, 'it's fine Lisa,
he just saved your ass for future embarassment'

"Ever been into the famous Universe Cafe? " he said as he attractively leaned back onto the chair,
the adjective isn't exactly wrong that's how the blonde haired girl sees it.

"ah that place somewhere along  baker street? I've heard about it but it never really occur to me to go there why?"
Truth enough her friends always invites her to go to that cafe every time she but for some reason the universe seems to hinder it from happening,
she vividly remember that one time she agreed to go there for a reunion but she suddenly got summoned to her company,
conflicting schedule has always been her problem but she never thought it would happen in her precious vacation period,
it is common for a kind of job she has though.

"Ah that's why you never met me"

"Oh! so you mean?" Lisa gulped down the spoonful of pancake she swallowed at the sudden realization
