~Spencer~
"Spencer? Wait... Spencer Reid?" Mia asked. I nod my head and she starts smiling.
"What? Why- How are you... here." Mia stumbles across her words.
"I work with the FBI. I'm an agent, well, Doctor. But we got the case after your brother reported you missing and I helped find you." I explained to her.
I studied her face. All her features. She was so beautiful. The way her long hair was tucked behind her ears. The way her eyes lite up, her smile. I still don't even really know her, but I want to.
"How did you know it was me?" She asked.
"When your brother showed me the text messages you sent him, I recognized the phone number and I figured out it was you."
"You two already know each other?" Mrs. Wahlberg asked.
"Um... it's a long story. I'll tell you later, okay." Mia told her mom. "Can you guys give us a second please?" She asked her mom and her brother. She actually wants to talk to me in private.
"Of course. We'll be in the cafeteria so take your time." Mrs. Wahlberg said, smiling at me on her way out and closing the door behind her and Zach.
Mia rolled her eyes and I smiled.
"So you're Dr. Spencer Reid. The guy that told me he had a special message about my mother." Mia laughed.
"Yeah, I'm still really sorry about that. One of my team members decided to play a prank on me and you happened to get in the middle of it. None of what I said was actually meant for you." I explained.
"I know, Spencer. It's okay." She laughed. "We didn't even know each other yet."
"Well, now we do." I said, smiling at her.
"Yeah. And you helped save my life. Thank you, by the way." Mia said, smiling back at me.
I can't do this. I don't know how to talk to girls. I'm gonna say something weird and stupid because that's the only way I know how to talk.
"You're welcome." I said back.
I wasn't sure if I should walk closer to her or stay standing at the end of her bed. Either way I didn't want to creep her out.
"Well, I should probably go. I'm sure you're tired. How are you feeling, by the way?" I asked her.
"I'm in a lot of pain, but I'm better than I was when I was being tortured." She said.
"Well, I'm glad you're alive and safe. I hope you feel better and recover soon."
"Thank you." Mia said, smiling at me again. Her damn smile. She's so beautiful.
"Well, I'll let you rest now. I just really wanted to tell you that." I said, awkwardly.
"I'm glad you did." She said.
I smiled at her then left her room. I really didn't want to leave, but I didn't know what else to say.
Morgan's not gonna shut up about this tomorrow.

"Hey, Reid. How'd it go yesterday?" Morgan asked as soon as I walked in the door.
"I don't want to talk about it." I said as I drop my bag on my desk then head over to the break room for some coffee.
Of course Morgan followed me.
"No sleep again? I wonder what kept you awake last night." Morgan said, smiling at me.
