"Reid, I want you to come with me. We're going to Mrs. Wahlberg's house to ask her some questions about Mia. And her brother is on his way to the house too." Hotch says as we get off the jet. I nod then follow him over to the car.

We get to the house at the same time as the brother. He pulls up beside us in the driveway then immediately gets out to greet us.

"Hi, I'm Zach. I'm Mia's brother. Well, twin brother." He says, shaking Hotch's hand and then mine.

"Oh, you're twins?" I ask.

"Yeah." He smiles, then it slowly fades.
"Do you guys know anything yet? About Mia?" Zach asks.

"No we're still investigating. We don't know anything yet, but we're working on it. Why don't we go inside and we'll ask you and your mom some questions." Hotch says.

Zach nods then leads us over to the front door. Hotch knocks and only a few seconds later Mrs. Wahlberg opens the door.

"Hi, Mrs. Wahlberg, I'm FBI agent Aaron Hotchner and this is Dr. Spencer Reid. We're here to ask you some questions about your daughter, Mia." Hotch explains.

"Yes. Come in." She says, stepping aside to let us in. I can see tears in her eyes. I can't imagine what she's going through, even though I deal with this stuff every day.

She leads us into her living room and sits down in a recliner. Hotch and I sit on the couch and Zach sits in another chair beside his mom.

"So you just have the two children?" Hotch asks. "Yes. Twins. They're so close, and they do everything together." She says, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"When was the last time you saw Mia?" I ask Mrs. Wahlberg.

"About a week ago. She came over after her class to visit with me." She says.

"Is she in college?" Hotch asks.

"Yes. This is their last year. Mia wants to be a kindergarten teacher. She loves kids and she's so smart. Zach is in med school, studying to be a doctor." She says, wiping another tear from her eye.

Hotch smiles lightly at Mrs. Wahlberg and Zach. "We're doing everything we can to find your daughter." Hotch says.

"So, you know she's still alive?" She asks. Hotch hesitates to answer, "we actually don't know yet."

She nods her head, covering her mouth with her hand. "Excuse me." She says, leaving the room as she starts crying more. One of the things I hate about my job, giving people bad news.

"I'll go talk to her." Hotch says. He stands up and walks down the hall into a room where Mrs. Wahlberg went.

I look over at Zach, "so you're the one who reported her missing?" I ask him.

"Yeah, I hadn't heard from her in a few days and when I was trying to get ahold of her she never responded to me. That's when I got really worried and called the police." Zach explained.

"When was the last time you talked to her?" I ask.

"Uh, I think it was Thursday night, so five days ago."

"Did you see her or just talk on the phone with her?"

"She actually texted me and told me she had just called the police." Zach says, scratching the back of his head.

"Called the police about what?" I ask, confused.

"She said she thought she saw someone outside her window watching her. She called the police and they searched around her apartment building but I guess they didn't find anything."

"Well, when you called to report her missing and they searched her apartment, they found her bedroom window broken. So someone broke into her apartment and it most likely was whoever she thought was watching her. It could've even been that same night you talked to her last." I explain.

"Is it alright if I look at your text messages with her?" I ask.

"Sure." Zach pulls his phone out of his pocket and opens up the text messages, then hands it to me.

I scroll up a little and read through the text messages from that night.

"So she didn't actually see anyone, just a shadow?" I ask after reading through all the texts.

"Yeah, I guess." Zach says.

I was about to hand Zach's phone back over to him when I notice the phone number under Mia's name.

That's impossible. That can't be right.

It's the same number.

The girl I talked to on the phone that called me by mistake. The girl I've been obsessing over since the last time I talked to her on the phone a few days ago.

It's her.

I'm positive it's her phone number. I have an eidetic memory and I never forgot anything. Especially when she's all I've been thinking about these past few days.

I look up at Zach and hand him his phone.

"I think I know your sister."
