"Ohhh this is fancy..." I said looking around the gorgeous restaurant. It was black and gold all around, with mirrors everywhere, and chandeliers hanging from every center. We were the only black couple, while the rest of the guests were caucasians. It was called Gabes and whoever that was, was making some bank. Looking at the menue, it was 300 and up for a meal.
"You like it?" I nodded giving him a smile as I sipped on my cherry sprite.
"Yes, what's the special occasion? He looked up at me, licking his lips before sitting back in his chair.
"You." He responded and I sat back in my chair admiring the human being who was sitting across from me. He licked his lips as his hands dropped from the table to his pockets, pulling out a tiny velvet box.
"I gotta surprise." I said and I started giggling cause he was so sweet with his surprises.
"You got me Louie, a puppy, what could this possibly be."
"A wedding ring."he said and I gasped and he busted out into a laugh. " I'm just fucking witcha, but it's sum like it." He said and I smacked my teeth, cause he loved to play with my emotions. "It's a promise ring, until I get ready for the I do's." He said with a now serious face. " I ain't never felt like this about a women before, I ain't never thought about a women like the way I think about you.I need for you to know that we in dis shit forever, you hear me? I need us to last forever cause I swear to god imma go crazy." He said being mushy and I was taken it all in. This was the first time, night never really told me what the deal was, most of our relationship was just following the flow.
"Night baby, I love yuh, you know I wouldn't change on you for nothing." I said leaning over the table and we shared an intimate kiss, that had folks looking at us.
"I love you too." He said still tryna kiss me some more and I giggled. I gave in and went for another kiss, I could tell his sexual tendencies was kicking in because it felt like he wanted to eat my whole face.
"Baby." I whined before gigglin, wiping his lips. My lipgloss that I had on was now on his lips and I tried to contain my laugh.
"What? I'm just tryna show my girlfriend some love."
"I know but you're ODing."
"Neva..." "whatcha' getting? Don't get no damn burger." I laughed cause he knew me so well. The only thing I ate was burgers and sometimes seafood.
"I'm not, I'm getting the Louisiana style pasta thank you very much."
"Knowing damn well, you was finna get that original steak burger." I looked at him cause that's what I was going to order before he commented something about my eating habits. " I ain't tripping go head and order what you want." He put his hands up in surrender before leaning back in his chair. I smirked putting my finger on my chin as if I was thinking.
"Okay......you got me." I said and he let out a deep chuckle.
"I knew it, I know you too good."
"I know....I don't like it sometimes." I said biting my lips. He scrunched up his eyes brows as if what I had just finished saying offended him.
"You think that's a bad thing?"
"Yeah sometimes, I can't be slick with you." He nodded his head cause he knew what I was talking about.
"I ain't never meant anybody who tries to be so sneaky but sloppy as hell." I threw the napkin at him and he chuckled.
"I'm not sloppy." He stale faced me and I smacked my teeth.
