" so what's the special occasion." Cassie sipping on her Hennessy with cranberry and I laughed.
"Why can't I invite y'all over without it being something going on."
"Cause KD here and you just wouldn't invite his annoying ass for no reason." She said and I chuckled looking at Kd who was wolfing down my Mac and cheese. Everybody loved my Mac and cheese.
"Okay it's something I do have to tell everybody but I'm waiting on midnight to umm...get home." I told her stuttering on my words. Mostly because I was embarrassed at the fact that I had planned this get together for everybody and midnight was the only person who wasn't here. I had a big feeling that he had forgot about everything going on cause that was midnight for ya'."
"Where is he at now?"
"I don't even know to be honest." I told her being honest, I huffed grabbing my phone and calling him. I could feel my mood change by just talking about him. I just felt like since I found out I was pregnant he had been real distance....I didn't know why.
"Wassup baby?"
"Hey....where you at?" I asked lowly as I walked into the bathroom to get some privacy.
"I'm at this studio session for my boy shooter, wassup? You need something?" As soon as I heard that I felt my head about to explode.
"So everytime I fucking talk to you, you clearly wasn't listening to me? Why the fuck are you at a studio session when you're supposed to be here, with your friends, and me."
"I'm wit y'all all the time Arianna, don't start."
"I'm not starting nothing midnight! It's just funny how everytime I plan something....you wanna not show up. I wanted to tell them about me being pregnant....together. Cause I didn't make this baby by my damn self." The line went silent and I gave him a deadly eye roll like he could see me.
"I know baby , it was the two of us. I'm on my way now."
"No you can stay where the fuck you was at cause clearly that's more important." I hung up the phone, looking at the ceiling because I refused to cry. I was just a emotional mess and midnight wasn't making it any better. I took some toilet paper, dapping my under eye, careful not to ruin my makeup.
"Ari? You good in there. You seemed kinda upset." I heard Cassie say before knocking on the door. I bet everybody had listened to the whole conversation. I slowly opened the door seeing chop, Kd, and Mario faces.
"Congratulations!" Mario said with a big smile and chop and Kd joined in on the celebration. I could tell they were just trying to make me feel better but that surprise was ruined.
"You finna have my little niece! " Cassie said hugging me and I forced a smile, hugging her back.
"Is that the reason why you cooked this good ass food?" Kayden asked with his mouth full and I nodded.
"Yeah it was supposed to be a surprise until I was ready to tell y'all but I guess y'all already heard."
"Finally, all that fucking y'all be doing."
"Cassie shut up, ohh my gosh."
"Where night at?" Chop asked me and I just shrugged.
"Ion know, that's your mans." I said going to the fridge and grabbing a water. Making my way to the stairs, I could feel everybody looking at me. I knew it was rude to just leave them and they were my company, but my mood was ruined.
