Danny and I both spun around as we saw a figure jump out of the tree and land on the ground in one swift and elegant motion. I had never seen him before, but I knew exactly who he was. He looked just how I imagined he would, with short blonde hair and very strong looking, probably more muscular than Aaron and I put together. Also like I imagined, his mouth was turned up in a sneer and his silvery eyes were cold, cruel and at the moment cat-like.
“Damien!” I exclaimed in surprise and horror, and I saw Danny’s mouth fly open in shock too.
“Yes, Damien.” He said in a silky voice and jumped up onto a low branch of a pine tree and sank into a laid-back lounge, one foot swinging back and forth off the branch.
“What do you want?” Danny asked in a tightly-controlled voice.
“I was actually hoping to have a chat with my little brother; it’s been much too long since we’ve talked.” He wore a smirk that suggested he wanted to do more than just talk to Aaron. “Where is he?” Damien jumped off the branch and started walking toward the general direction of the dorms.
Danny and I looked at each other, but we kept our mouths shut, not going to betray Aaron. Damian sighed loudly.
“Fine, if you won’t tell me I’ll find him myself.” Danny and I stared after him as he walked to the building.
“What do we do?” Danny asked me.
“I don’t know.” You knew things were bad when Danny started to worry.
