Hey lovelies!
So, I have loved reading all of y'alls thoughts on the past few chapters about what's going on with Daryl and Riley, and I love how protective you all are of her!
So I thought we could have a little poll and decide their fate. Now, this one is going to be different from the other polls I've done with FLL and WDoA, this is purely going to be focused on how y'all want the story to go. Now, obviously I can't please everyone, but I'd rather please the majority of you with how this turns out, then have all but like two of you pissed at me 😂
So here's how it works, I have a few options that I've thought about, and I'd be fine with writing any of these, and you guys can take as long as you want to answer (since it'll be awhile before any of this matters anyway), and if you change your mind as the book progresses, just come back and tell me here!
But I would love to hear what y'all want so, here's what I'm thinking:
Riley is found by the group, she goes back with them + Morgan, she and Daryl fight a lot but eventually: Forgive and Forget, Happily Ever After and Carol leaves the group (and there will be other stuff that happens, but it'll mostly just be the group struggling with the zombie apocalypse and not this drama).
Morgan is discovered by Rick in a few months (after Judith's birth) and Riley and Dale aren't there, but Morgan sends her a signal and she goes off on her own. Possibly running into the Hilltop, or Alexandria, or Negan, but she leaves, and we don't see Daryl again. Might meet someone else, might not, but she'll be on her own for the entire book. Literally just her raising Dale.
Or, a mix of the two. She goes off on her own, and eventually after a ton of stuff happens to both of them, they meet again. Maybe after Rick does, or after the troubles with Negan and Daryl's torture, and maybe bad stuff happens to her and Dale too. But when they meet up again, they put it all behind them and then live HEE. And the rest of the book (if I decided to write any after them getting back together) would just be about them raising Dale and being on their own, together.
So, y'all think it over! And if you have any suggestions besides those, feel free to comment them too, and if I like them I'll add it to the poll here! But take your time, decide when you're ready, we still have some chapters between now and when anything is decided! ❤️❤️
