...

I heave a frustrated sigh. "What do you want?"

As my eyes trail down his body, I realize James is wearing a pair of black jeans with a grey knit sweater, paired with a pair of black and white Gazelles. He points towards the small kiosk with a confused expression. "I'm getting fries?"

"Why'd you pay for me? You're mad at me."

"Doesn't mean I can't be nice," he counters.

"So you admit that you're mad at me then?" I raise my eyebrow.

He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "I'm not mad at you. I'm more annoyed," he shrugs.

"I don't get it," I sigh deeply, turning away from him and towards the fries station.

I can feel his stare on me, but I choose not to turn and face him.

"What are you wearing?" he asks me, sounding a little judgemental. I finally turn to meet where his eyes are looking.

"A hoodie? Have you never seen one before?" I sarcastically remark.

"Whose hoodie is that?" he chooses to ignore my comment.

"Why is it any of your concern?"

"It's Smith's. That's his hoodie," James' eyes trains his eyes on my torso as his eyes narrow.

"Yeah, it is," I shrug, not thinking much about it.

"Why are you wearing Smith's hoodie?" he looks... upset? Annoyed maybe? Huh?

"Because I was cold and I left my jacket at home, so he gave it to me. It's really not a big deal," I say as the kiosk lady hands me and James our fries.

"It's way too big for you, you look like an idiot," he scoffs, sticking a fry in his mouth.

"Well, thanks for the fries and the lovely compliments. I'll be on my way now. Please don't talk to me for the rest of the night; I don't need your attitude, nor do I want it. I'll see you later," I wave at him with my fingers outstretched in a scraggly fashion trying to act like the more mature person, to which he rolls his eyes before I turn around and meet the group back to where they stand in a small circle.

"Right, so what's the first ride?" I ask, digging my finger into my packet of fries.

"Well, we were thinking of saving The Cyclone for last because that's the most life-threatening one, so well start off with something a little easier. Electro Spin?" Sophie says.

"I'm down!" Smith says next to me, clearly not calmed down from his rush of excitement when we first arrived. He opens his mouth and I take a few fries out of the bag. I stick it into his mouth, careful not to touch his mouth with my fingers.

"Thanks AC," Smith holds a thumbs-up for me while he speaks with his mouth full and I can't help but laugh.

My curiosity gets the best of me as I turn to look for James in the small circle. I notice that he also made his way back from the kiosk, his eyes trained on Smith and I.
