CAMERON'S POV

Logan and I made it our objective of the afternoon to make Lindy feel as special as she deserved. We surprised her with the gifts and we had lunch at an Italian restaurant in downtown Honolulu. I brought my camera on the trip to take photos for the wedding, but I took some snaps of Logan and Lindy. When we're all back home, I'm gonna frame them in my house.

Photography was a side hobby that I loved during my time in college - all I ever did was take photos of Lindy. I figured bringing my skills back in for the ceremony would be great for Madison and Isaac's wedding album. I made them cancel on the photographer they planned on having for the wedding, because I can do it for free; so that did them a favour and saved them three thousand dollars. The two were overjoyed about me taking the pictures and I can't wait for them to see all of it.

I kind of stopped taking photos after divorcing Lindy. It was a bit miserable. I couldn't take photos of her half naked in my shirts in the kitchen, making pancakes and homemade juice for our breakfast... because she was no longer mine. Daisy was not one to cook - it was all me. She couldn't even boil pasta.

Melinda doesn't know this, but I still have every single photo I've ever taken of her on a separate memory card. It's somewhere in the house, in my room, hidden. I still have a little scheme in my head that I have planned to try and weasel my way back in, those photos are part of it.

And no, I'm not going to blackmail her. I think it will be quite romantic and sweet, and she's a sucker for fondness.

Even though I was dating Daisy, I obviously missed Lindy. There was something she had that Daisy could never have given me or replaced. Melinda Marcellano is one of a kind.

Everyone thinks I'm really stupid for still trying. I can see why. Honestly, I do. I'm incredibly stubborn and it's a bad trait I've had since I was a teen, but I'm not going to let go of my first ever love, again. It's taken me a stupid car accident to realise what I actually want, and the fact I even stayed in that relationship for seven years is ridiculous - I can't believe it myself sometimes. She was practically a roommate.

Logan snaps me out of my thoughts when he asks me to help him with his bow tie. He was in the suite with all of us men, getting ready. The wedding was in exactly an hour. Everyone was prepared, and we were running late. The venue is a ten minute car ride away, so it was nothing major to worry about. We had to leave now, so after I did my son's tie we raced down to the cars to get there.

The venue was small-ish, but so luxurious. There was a large garden that was well cared for, as the flowers and bushes were lively and appealing. It really set the atmosphere. The bride and groom will be married there by a vicar under a white oak arch with white orchids on the top, just as the sun sets. Inside, the Marble cream pillars were scattered around the ballroom with fairy lights wrapped around them, with a white tiled floor. There was a long table that would seat all twenty of us and staff that would serve us the food and alcoholic beverages like wine and champagne on the side, post reception.

I was surprised to find out that this venue was just under ten thousand dollars, according to Nate. He figures the whole wedding must come to at least twenty five-thirty thousand.

You don't even want to know how much mine and Lindy's wedding was. Lets just say the costs were dear.

I spent the last half hour taking some pictures of Isaac in the garden, the rings, all of the groomsmen and the venue settings. The mood was very emotional and the pictures I had so far were coming out beautifully: I know that Madison and Isaac are going to treasure these photos.
