LINDY'S POINT OF VIEW

It's been a couple days.

Logan has improved so much academically, which I found out yesterday when his teacher sent me an email about his sudden progress. Ever since Cameron started staying, things have kind of been looking up for him. The two have read books together every night. He's helped him with his homework every time he got it. They're like two peas in a pod, and I love that for them. I just hope that he stays like this, thriving, and that the incident doesn't come back to haunt him.

Cameron still has been pretty quiet. He won't talk to anyone about what happened and nobody has intent to pry - sometimes it's best to let them come to you. In my opinion, communication always gets you somewhere. But of course, in this case, time is key. He's buried himself in work at home, which I think is some kind of coping mechanism as well. He's been drinking a lot of coffee which stunned me because he's not the biggest fan of it.

Anna came over twice in the five days Cameron has been here. She kept him company when no one was home and occupied his headspace elsewhere to just cheer him up a bit. She and Sam will be picking up Kerrigan in two days, so she has been pretty nerve wracked herself.

Nathan and I are doing great, as we always have been. We haven't really had time to ourselves, like alone time, because everything is so hectic at the moment. We had an intimate morning today just before sunrise, for quite a long time might I add and had a shower together afterwards. I got onto making breakfast once I was ready and that's when Logan and Cameron had woken up.

Nate is taking Logan to school this morning, and then he'll be back home with Cameron and i for the day. I'm not certain on what the plan is for today, but something interesting should come up.

"I was gonna take the liberty of making breakfast today, but I guess I didn't wake up early enough," Cameron says to me as he ate the waffles I made.

"Slowpoke," I joked, as I washed up the bowl I used to make the food with. "Plans today?"

"Netflix."

"I like that. I think I might join you on that one."

"What's Nate doing?"

"He'll be back once he's dropped Logan off..." I told him, checking the time on the hob clock. He should be back by now, but he's probably just doing something. My head then altered back to the investigation, "Any news on.. you know,"

"Nope. It's all so pointless at this point, I should have hired a PI in the first place." He scoffed, and poked around at his waffle with the fork.

"Do you know what you should get? Guards." I suggested.

"And what would I need them for,"

"Permission to speak freely?"

He nods curiously.

"Well, with the whole Aria situation, you should have another, or a few more pairs of eyes on the back of your head you know. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, obviously not at this kind of severity, but a threat is a threat. You're a very rich man with a lot of baggage. A man of your status are big targets."
